My wife and I had dinner and a cup of lobster bisque to start everything was very good !
We have had several dinners at Portico and have always had great service and excellent food, it is one of the reasons we choose to go del Lago resort.
Dined here for the 3rd time on March 14th for my birthday. Our usual server wasn't working due to the then, cut-back of staff because of Covid-19 response. Our server did fine, although she offered fresh ground pepper to the table across from us and didn't offer any to us until I requested it. Minor issue. She was very pleasant. I do feel that for the price of a glass of wine, the portion is ridiculously small, 5 ounces (?), 6 at best for $10 or more. Food is excellent. Veal parmesan is AMAZING. We'll be back.
Great food, slightly pricey, outstanding service and ambience
The waitress was terrible - felt like she didn't want to be there or help with figuring out allergies
Good food fine service nice setting. The salmon was very god. along with baked sweet potato.
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. We had dinner with another couple and we were able to converse without a lot of noise in the restaurant. We will definitely come back. It is a great promotion of buying one entree and getting the second one free.
The food and service was wonderful, it was a great experience.
Amazing!!!! Food was great... service was great....just an overall Restaraunt ... we will definitely come back!!.. all 6 of us!!!
We all ordered steak and it was amazing ! We each ordered sides as well and the portions were huge ! I think the sides are meant to be shared : )
Portico is a beautiful restaurant in the Del Lago Resort and Casino Our food was delicious and we had a wonderful dining experience
Food was delicious, lighting was dark. Prices a little high and waiter was lacking.
Visited after concert. Not busy but very slow to attend to those waiting to enter restaurant
The best place to eat while at Del Lago! A great time celebrating our dear friend's birthday!
Pri ces are high for the portion size Food tasted great but small protions. No regular garden salad on the menue . Had to ask for one which they made us one geat but the waitress said it came with an oil type dressing on it we asked for the dressing on the side but salad came out with the dressing on it. Way to much dressing for us which made the salad uneatable. OK place but there's nothing else at Del Lago
Everything was very good, especially the steak! We will definitely dine here again!
On a scale of 1-10 we give Portico an 11. The meal was absolutely amazing and the service matched. Our server Joe was prompt and courteous. Will visit again soon.
First time visiting this restaurant and have to say it will definitely turn in to a regular place for us. The food was incredible. We couldn't decide which was more delicious the pork belly or the lobster mac and cheese. Service was great and the chef came out to ask how it was and he was very nice! Will be recommending to friends!
Everything ordered was very good. Wine was also good. Enjoyed a BOGO special for main entres which made it very reasonable. Great steaks.
Everything was great portion size, price and flavor outstanding.
I have eaten there on 2 other occasions and had fabulous dinners. This time was not good. My veal chop was all fat and tough , the garlic was under cooked, the farro was under cooked all the way. My veal chop was tasteless. I have had this before and was phenomenal. My son’s veal parmagina the sauce did not taste fresh and robust. This was suppose to be a special time for me and my son . I did not complain at the time because I didn’t want to spoil my evening with my son.
This was our 2nd year in a row dining at Portico with a large group- and again it was amazing. The food was delicious, the service was great and they honored our request to be seating in the back room.
The food and service could not have been better! Amazing!
The manager was awesome right from the start. We were 20 minutes earlier than our reservation and still seated us in a great location in the restaurant. Serena our waitress was also awesome very helpful with the menu. When my strip steak came out it was beyond rare I did order it medium so Serena returned it back to the kitchen too get to my liking . Unfortunately it came back just as rare. By that point I was not interested in the steak anymore. So Serena returned it to the kitchen and the manager came up to us and apologized. Which was very nice of him and I was OK with that. At the end of the meal he gave us a complimentary dessert which was awesome. Unfortunately things happen and I understand, I’ll be back at Delago because we really enjoyed everything.
Noisy room, 1 glass of wine almost forgotten, but waiter was apologetic. He was a good waiter non-the-less and we will request him next time. And there will be a next time. Food was excellent! The veal Parmesan was to die for! Hubby loved his salmon.
We a had an excellent time
Food was great
It was a little loud at times but tolerable
Food and service very good. Cesar salad just the right size. Entrees very good. The veal chop was ordered medium, but a good doctor could have revived. Over all would definitely come back.
This is a special treat. Great for an anniversary or birthday or a special event. The food is exquisite! Well prepared and presented. Our waitress Sara was exceptional. This is a bit expensive but well worth it.
We were there for my husband’s birthday dinner. Unfortunately, we were seated in the bar area. Our server as a nervous, frazzled girl named Kayla. Everything seemed to take a long time... our drinks were good. The lobster bisque soup was very good but when a server took the bowl away, she said, “ do you want to lick the bowl?” What kind of question is that to ask your guests? That server, who was helping Kayla should have been quiet. Skipping to the end of the meal, I asked for a to go box. Finally, I was given a brown bag with two boxes inside. We drove home about 11 p.m. and discovered that the food in the boxes belonged to someone else. I paid for a meal that I did not get to fully finish or enjoy
