   We had a lovely evening thank you. Food was great and service very friendly. As I said to the young waitress perhaps make it more obvious that some of the desserts are ‘deconstructed’ as some people might not be amused, but our desserts were delicious.

   Came here on Sunday & both my husband & I had the roast beef lunch which was delicious! My plate was full, must have had at least 6 veggies with a large Yorkshire & own pot of gravy! What’s not to like! The cauliflower cheese was exceptional. Such good value. Too full for dessert.

   A fabulous eatery, set in the St Ives waterfront. It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and the service was impeccable. Friendly, attentive staff and an eclectic range of music. The finishing touch was the discovery that they sold Pol Roger champagne, our absolute favourite. Will definitely be back!

   Best meal during my birthday week away, even have me a little candle on my dessert! Very good quality ingredients, thoughtfully and expertly put tiger menu. Staff are polite and attentive, as they have been before when we visited. Will book again when in St Ives.

    I live locally and over the years visited all the restaurants in the town except the new ones which opened in the last year... I had never tried Porthminster Kitchen before. We dined out the previous evening and had a very pleasant meal and evening... The previous evening meal we had one starter and the drinks we had were just the same as we had at Porthminster Kitchen last night.....However, the Porthminster Kitchen bill was 33% more in cost!!!.... I agree that the food tasted wonderful, exceptional in taste...I could not fault the food.... the chefs are talented and exceptional, innovative in the design of the menu and cooking... The staff were friendly, polite and helpful...The staff were excellent.. But a prawn is a prawn, potatoes are potatoes, vegetables are vegetables, mussels are mussels... The previous evenings meal was just as enjoyable but cost 33% less!!!....Was the Porthminster meal worth 33% more??...33% better???...The answer is NO. Would I return???. NO.. Far too expensive...Porthmister Kitchen are doing something right, they are busy...But I wont return...They just need the vistors to come coming back too.

    Clean and chilled restaurant, staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and bursting with an aroma of flavours..this restaurant is a must if your in st ives…the view from the restaurant is central to the scenic harbour, a wonderful spot for an evening out

    Great food - simple short menu. Korean flavours better considered than Italianate (gnocchi a little dense and too many ingredients). Better value than the Porthminster beach cafe and great watching the people go by and the harbour boats. Always friendly helpful staff.

    We came here for an early dinner with our 2 young children while we were here on holiday. The food was absolutely incredible. Quite a small menu which is usually a good sign. Separate children’s menu. Service was great, friendly staff and attentive. Nice ambience and would be great views of harbour if it had been during the day. Would definitely return if we came to St Ives again.

    We eat here quite often but I must say that the Sunday Lunch this week was the best ever. Everything was cooked to perfection and piping hot. Pork, Beef and the Vegetable Pithivier all delicious. Staff all great too as always.
