Nestled beneath the steep slopes of Porthminster Point, right on the beach with unbeatable and uninterrupted views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. Now open all year round for coffee, lunch and dinner.
Porthminster Cafe in St Ives is a multi award winning seafood restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The café specialises in Mediterranean and Asian seafood cuisine and is an oasis of taste and visual beauty.
A Holiday in St Ives would not be complete without going to the beach. Here at Porthminster Beach we have one of the cleanest beaches in the South West. We have been given the prestigious Blue Flag Award which guarantees the highest of standards.

    Hugely disapointing. The main courses arrived after waiting a very long time. The monkfish curry smelt off and the prawns within the dish were raw and unedible as still blue from being undercooked. The staff are keen but under experienced and lacking customer service skills. There are some wonderful restaurants in St. Ives and this is not one of them. We will certainly never return.

    Been coming here for years and the quality has never dipped. Great margaritas, unusual and really tasty starter (trout pastrami) and perfectly cooked main course (cod). Pudding delicious as well. Could not have asked for more.

    This is a great place to eat ! Wonderful setting overlooking St. Ives bay, excellent food expertly cooked, with friendly and efficient service. Well worth a visit.

    We had a very good experience, the food was delicious, Very fresh fish and the service was outstanding. He looked after us very well and was always very attentive. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

    Our lunch was very satisfactory. I particularly enjoyed my starter of crispy pork cheek. I was pleased that our soda waters and coffees were very reasonably priced in contrast to some restaurants

    We had a great experience for dinner for four and baby granddaughter, the food was delicious as always accompanied by fine wine. A big thank you for the chef to blend our granddaughters meal and all waiting staff very helpful. We would highly recommend for a great meal with spectacular views

    A really enjoyable experience with excellent food and considerate service. It reminded us why we love to return to Porthminster Beach Cafe when we are staying in Cornwall.
