    Superb meal with a very special view of the bay. The finest ingredients including scallops and a beautiful cod with a stunning strawberry dessert. Don’t hesitate for the best!

    I have been coming to this restaurant on an annual basis for many years and it’s always good but this year it was better than ever. The setting is second to none, the service is friendly and professional and the food is great. A few new dishes on the menu this year are welcome and absolutely smashing.

    Porthminster Beach Café in St Ives delivers a superb dining experience in a stunning beachfront setting. A 10/10 experience, without hesitation. We visited for my wife’s birthday and were impressed by the warm, attentive service, complete with a birthday card on the table and a candle in her dessert. The highlight was the catch of the day. Red Gurnard, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. It was, without question, the best piece of fish I’ve ever had so far. While prices are premium, the quality of the food, thoughtful service, and breathtaking views make it well worth it.

    Really wonderful. Of course the location is idyllic, being right on this glorious beach. But its the food that transcends. All of it was top notch. We focussed on the fish and had some of the most sublime dishes. Hats off to the fabulous chef. Staff were all first rate as well.

    Incredible setting and beach view, gorgeous food and great service. We loved it! This is not really a cafe but high end food in a relaxed yet chic setting. Go and enjoy!!
