Fantastic restaurant. Wonderful food, service and views. Will return very soon.
Fab food, fab view. Hidden gem and would definitely recommend a visit
Excellent tasting food. Quality of service was exceptional, you can really tell the the staff care about their customers despite challenging circumstances. Great view of beach too. Highly recommended.
Delicious everything, especially the squid 🦑
Delightful attention to detail and super friendly
Excellent food and service.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly lady, who showed us to our table, brought menu's for us. There is a very calm pleasent atmosphere. I had the catch of the day, which was cod, it was beautifully cook and presented. The only thing that let it down was after our dinner was brought no one came to ask if we wanted any condiments or if everything was ok, this should be done as the 'norm' as you never get a second chance to make a first impression. None the less we would be happy to recomend this restuarant to anyone,
Excellent meal, service and location.
Great food, spectacular views. Staff were great, very polite. Would highly recommend eating here.
Beautiful setting, friendly and attentive staff and good food. Highly recommended
Fabulous experience dining here. Staff were exceptional. Really welcoming and friendly and so polite and professional. Service was prompt and food was amazing. Good size portion and very tasty and well cooked and presented.
Lovely atmosphere with amazing view over my favourite st.ives beach, porthgwidden. Very airy too so didn't get hot in the restaurant. Highly recommended. Can't praise enough.
Very memorable meal at our favourite beach cafe in St Ives, super food and great staff, looking forward to our next visit already!
Lovely meal in a beautiful part of the world. Only slight downside was despite booking in March, I was unable to be seated on the balcony. The food was delicious and the service good. Also a little disappointed that when i asked for sauces I was offered sachets. When I’m paying £12 for a starter I do expect sauce in a small pot, also drinks, when I order a coke, I expect it arrive in a glass not a can. I’m picking really, the location is fabulous, the food is lovely, highly recommend any of the starters as we tried one of each instead of any main courses as we felt they were more they type of food we wanted. The hand picked crab was sweet and delicious, not a scrap of shell in sight. The duck bau bun would have benefited a sauce of some kind. The calamari was the best i’ve ever tasted, not rubbery!! amazing! The dip which accompanied it was superb and definitely on my must have again if we ever go back. Although if we do, I will be writing balcony seats please! and not assuming booking 6 months in advance will get me a balcony seat.
An absolutely lovely venue and setting. We were lucky with the weather but despite that it was a lovely meal, great staff and felt very special.
A hidden gem.
Super friendly staff with a stunning view of the beach.
Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely views. Nothing else to say really.
Amazing staff and fantastic service, catered really well for our dog and also gave him a treat!!!!
Only downside was that it was very expensive
One of our favourite restaurants in St Ives. The setting, the food the ambience. Staff were great too.
All staff were superb, very attentive, friendly and happy to spend time chatting. Food was exceptional. A special shout out to Hannah who made our whole experience wonderful. It was by far our best meal during our week away to St Ives.
Friendly service and superb food, of which was excellent quality and all tasted great. Food is pricey but decent sized portions. Bottles of wine are well priced and good to see organic ones on menu too. Unfortunately they were out of Polgoon cider. Location is just perfect. Had to book in again!
Good service and food. Crab sandwich was excellent, battered fish was very good, however, chip could have been better.
Fantastic dining experience overlooking the beautiful Porthgwidden beach. Excellent food (best fish and chips in St Ives!) and exceptional staff. A fantastic experience all round. Keep up the fantastic work team - you're doing great!
Really delicious food served in a lovely surrounding. The outside of the place doesn’t really do justice to the interior or food and so don’t let it put you off. The menu was relatively small but for people who enjoy fish this place was great. Excellent service to top it off.
Impossible not to mention great view, so: great view; friendly, helpful, attentive staff: delicious food; and top notch espresso martinis.
Absolutely lovely restaurant with amazing views. Food lovely, menu limited due to COVID and a bit expensive. Staff very friendly and will definitely go back.
Great views, super friendly staff. The starters are wonderful! The mains are Totally mediocre. If you go, plan to go and have the starters as tapas ans your experience will be far superior.
Please don't take bookings for 9.30 if you want us to leave within an hour, perfect food and service.
Food was good although they had run out of bread which lessened our choices from the menu!
A lovely place for an evening meal- compares very well with other longer standing eateries in St Ives.
Great service. Small but interesting menu. Best mackerel pâté ever. Well cooked fish. Good wine choice. Great view over the beach.
Lovely place to eat and good views of the beach. Food fresh and tasty with choice of specials. Definitely recommend.
A wonderful restaurant in a superb spot, great staff and delicious food.
Best waitress ever here. All were so attentive and polite and not rushing you to get the table back. Food was lovely!
Delicious seafood linguine and a lovely crisp glass of white wine. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff.
You would expect homemade chips at the level of restaurant not frozen bagged fries. The started and main was very nice
Beautiful view, lovely staff and great menu with delicious food (especially catch of the day!) loved our dinner here, well worth booking in advance for
Lovely holiday unch
A beautiful spot for a relaxed lunch. Tasty food, lovely interior, excellent service. Views to die for.
A 'must do' for your visit to St Ives.
We come back to eat here every year when holidaying in St.Ives. We bring the whole family, daughters 15 & 17. There are good food choices for all tastes and ages. The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly. It has such a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
First class service throughout - friendly but professional.
The food was delicious and very well presented.
The view from the venue is superb.
The only downside was the noise. A big group of rowdy diners were at the next table and in what is a fairly compact venue, it made conversation across our table quite challenging.
Food was good but was very expensive and arguably not worth what we paid. That said, the service was excellent and ambience good
