   We ordered Sunday lunch which arrived very quickly To quickly as the vegetables were all cold It was taken away and replated and the reheated The meat however was now a little overdone The Kitchen staff seemed to be more concerned about getting the food correct for the owner and his party With Three chefs fussing over the presentation of their food Surely all orders should be treated equally

   Always look forward to a meal at Porterhouse - varied and seasonal menu means you find it difficult to choose bur the food is superbly cooked and presented. Great service as ever and you can take your time between courses with their great selection of cocktails and wine

   Meat was not as good as previous visits with a lot of fat and plate was swimming in gravy. Meal came too quickly after ordering giving me the impression it was not freshly cooked a definite disappointment from previous visits.

   We had a nice time at porterhouse, I just think I expected more from the food, my son and I got the beef Sunday dinner and our beef was very tough and my son was having trouble eating his so give up. The Yorkshire’s were also a little overcooked. Also we had order drinks I got them and ordered another just so i had one for my meal, they took my half full glass away which I was still drinking.

   Lovely food, lovely staff, not great facilities. Loo was a bit of a distance and only one to share so there was a queue when i went

    The service was great, we were able to change to preferred seating quite quickly. The food was OK but selection was limited. However desserts was not quite up to expectations.
