The service was amazing and the food was great. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely come back again. The lunch prefix was worth every penny!

I was charged for an item I did not order, and when I brought it to the attention of the floor manager, I was given incorrect change.

Ordered porterhouse for 2, perfect medium rare. Others ordered filet & skirt steaks, also perfectly cooked. Extensive wine list, had wines by the glass & a bottle of Barbera di Asti...all excellent. Service was impeccable & wine sommelier was very helpful in choosing our selections. Our table by the window afforded us a view of the snowfall. A very memorable dinner.

Love the food. Great environment. Service ok. Not the most attentive. Quieter than most steakhouses but not quiet.

I love this restaurant. The food is excellent. The wine list extensive. The wine staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The menu has many excellent choices and you don't have to be a beef eater to have a wonderful dining experience. We did have a problem with our waiter. He was very pushy and tried to rush us. I explained that we were not pre theater or pre opera we just wanted to enjoy the night and celebrate our friends birthday. He grunted at us and just stood there saying he was ready to take our order. He told my friend and I that our entrees would take extra time and we said the would be fine and not long after they put our food down and he it was good it came quickly. He keep pushing appetizers on us when we said we were so good with extra sides but he kept asking. I have no idea what his problem was. We've never had this issue here before. We all felt we were being rushed so the tables could be turned around - not a good look for a restaurant at this level. We'll come back but some other clients might not.

Excellent Choice for the Special Occasion, Scallops app. is so awesome, my 3 guests ordered their steaks and bone marrow, happened to be a Happy Thursday. Coconut Cake and banana cream pie were given two thumbs up. My uncle had a big complimented for the wine choice. Thank you for the great hospitality, will definitely coming back very soon.

Best,

I had marked in the notes when making the reservation that this was for a birthday, a special occasion. I didn't go into the meal expecting anything but thought that the least they could do would be to say "Happy Birthday." They didn't do anything. On top of that the food was very mediocre for the prices they charge. The $60 filet was nothing special. The $18 salad had more dressing than salad. The best part of the meal were the carrots and potatoes. Not a good sign. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know as there are much better steakhouses in the city for the same price or even a little cheaper.

The food was excellent and I continue to like this restaurant. However, the service was slow and at times inattentive. The waitress had too many tables and needed support from the other staff. The attitude of the staff could improve to match the prices.

Steak had no flavor at all. Food was not good but extremely expensive. Paid 300.00 total and left disappointed angry and can’t believe anyone would eat there. My advice would be go to Fogo De Chao instead!
Complete WASTE OF MONEY!

We ordered a very expensive bottle of wine that tasted like flavored water. We complained and no one did anything about it.

Very expensive OK food. Will never go back.

If you are paying a high price for a steak you would think it would be a better cut than sizzler. Other upscale steak houses in the area are far superior and give a better cut of meat. It was like a mad rush asking me if I wanted a drink before I even sat down in my chair. Expected better.

As always, delicious and gigantic. Had an obnoxious veal chop. Cooked to perfection. A great 8,000 calorie experience!

I had the chili-rubbed rib-eye steak. Having been spoiled on Grass Fed steaks in Texas I was completely overwhelmed with the quality of this cut of meat. Exceptional flavor and tenderness.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a great steak

We fond it unique to have a restaurant in NYC to have such an expansive view outside and being on the 4th floor was even better to have a different perspective. While we didn't get a table right along the windows we were close enough to have a decent view outside. The menu offered good variety for what's considered to be a steakhouse and the steak definitely did not disappoint. The truffle mashed potatoes were phenomenal and would definitely be recommended.

After I was unable to get a reservation at Keens, at the recommendation of a colleague at work, I made a reservation at PH to celebrate my Fiance's birthday. I'd hoped for a table by the window, but instead we were seated at a table for two which was very close to other tables for two. However, we were pleasantly surprised that close proximity was not too distracting. The service and food were amazing, dessert was mouthwatering! We will return! Thanks for a great evening. Maybe we can get the window seat next time! ; - )
