   The customer service was amazing. Although being young and expecting to be treated differently, we were treated like everyone else and that all went into consideration when giving the tip! Food was amazing and the waiter was really helpful in deciding what kind of food and temperature we should choose

   It was great returning to our favorite NY steakhouse to celebrate my wife’s birthday! Many thanks to Mr. Brown who warmly welcomed us back! Kudos to all of the staff who do such a great job.

   Service was friendly. Mature classic elegant atmosphere. Good for business lunches. However, the burger was mediocre at best. It was very disappointing for the price. I regretted ordering it.

   Went for lunch after running the NYC Half Marathon. The restaurant is stunning and the views are spectacular… unfortunately that’s where the greatness stops. I ordered wedge salad had to send back bacon was the super chunky fatty, thick kind… no tomatoes nothing great. Soup special was very bland almost unflavored. My cheeseburger was very fatty and honestly have had better at fast food chains:/ There are so many great restaurants in NYC this falls short

   Returning to the Porterhouse was delightful. The food was delicious and cooked to order with wine perfectly paired. The service was friendly, professional with attendance that catered to our every need. Keep up the great work and see you again soon.

    For the very best Steak Tartare outside of Paris, this is the restaurant! I have eaten at Chef Lomonaco's Porterhouse nearly 50 separate times and it is never less than excellent. The clubby ambiance is wonderful (with views of Central Park), the staff is eager to please and so very accommodating (ask for Joe), the menu has something for everyone and the quality and presentations of the menu choices are refined and delicious--from appetizer to dessert. I honestly could not eat at any other steak house in NYC. This is the one. You can count on a perfect meal every time. It deserves the outstanding reviews it receives. It is, bar none, my favorite restaurant in NYC. I would never go to another NYC steakhouse--nothing compares to the totality of Chef Lomonaco's Porterhouse.

    At Porterhouse last night, March 11, dinner, for a very very pricey meal, we hardly ate our food. We were very disappointed at our food. Our lambchops and filet mignon were tough, very very bland, and unpalatable. They didn’t serve us the green mint jelly until we asked for it. They didn’t clean our table after eating our appetizers until we told them to do so. We each had a slice of our food, and that’s it. We couldn’t eat them anymore. Our appetizers, drinks, and veggies were good, and that’s it. Not worth to be spending my hard-earned money for unsatisfying meal. Nice place though.

    As expected, the food was superb. I had the aged strip and my wife had the poached lobster. The steak was cooked to perfection. The service was simply impeccable. The wait staff was engaging and responsive. I also had a shrimp cocktail. The U8 shrimp were really good. The view of the Park is very nice.

    Superb meal at the Porterhouse, lovely atmosphere. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu which seems to be rare these days. Burrard salad was light and fresh. Both had steaks however my husbands NY strip wasn’t seasoned and my Filet was over seasoned (it had enough seasoning for both steaks!) however they were still delicious and cooked perfectly. Will definitely come back again.

    Our waiter was extremely rude and inattentive. He seemed extremely inconvenienced by normal requests. He never asked if our food was okay. There were issues with our meals however we did not complain and just made the best of it. I have been here several occasions and this was the only negative experience that I have ever had

    No idea who my bartenders were but he was an absolute saint. Helped me with directions when I needed them and checked in with me multiple times to see if I needed anything. All of my wants and needs were addressed and addressed quickly and accurately

    Porterhouse steak was amazing! Creamed spinach and truffle mashed potatoes were great on the side and the devils cake w vanilla ice cream at the end was delicious. Italian red wine bottle did justice. Great experience overall.

    Classy and elegant without being over the top. The staff is friendly, attentive, and good humored. It was a very welcoming and relaxing space. Not too noisy: great for conversation. We ordered roasted born marrow, steak, fish, pasta, and chocolate cake for desert - which came with a very nice and subtle (surprising) ‘birthday’ touch. All top notch. Will be back for sure. This place made a teenager and both her parents very happy - a rare feat.

    We had a very nice lunch here. Food was excellent…service was excellent also. The portions are ample. The ambiance is quite nice overlooking Columbus circle and Central Park.

    Everything was perfect for my birthday dinner prior to the Philharmonic. We each had the branzino which was delicious , with side of spinach and truffle mashed potatoes. New York Cheesecake for dessert - with a candle to blow out ! Our server was ver personable and all the servers were pleasant.

    This place really didn’t meet the hype. The food was very average for an NYC steakhouse on taste - the service was also very average. This is all relative to the price: it was way, way too expensive for the food/service. There are many steakhouses that beat Porter House in quality and service for about 50% of the cost. I’m glad I tried it, but very disappointed with the experience.
