Porter Collins is the newest addition to Pino Hospitality; like its sister Hoboken spots, Anthony David’s and Bin 14, it’s an accessible and welcoming neighborhood restaurant, seven days a week. It’s what flourishing uptown Hoboken has been missing: a beautifully-designed go-to spot for a casual night out, dinner with friends, a weekend bottomless brunch, or happy hour seven days a week. Summer at Porter Collins means a seasonal Dinner menu, refreshed for the season, and a brand new Bar Menu: order from the menu during happy hour and enjoy half-priced specialty cocktails, draft beers and wines by the glass. Our beautifully appointed Private Dining Room can handle events of any type, and seated dining for up to 50 guests.

I received an email notice from OpenTable about 2 weeks before my reservation date that this location was reported as permanently closed. I was hoping to celebrate my birthday here with a large group.

Space was cool, food was ok but not really worth the price. For example, the $21 burger was good, but you could get something comparable elsewhere for around half the price. For dessert we got the flourless chocolate cake and it was basically a $10 cold brownie. I've heard the value is better for brunch, but probably won't go back for dinner.

Enjoyed dinner for four here on 8/29. We parked around the corner -- no problem. The halibut special was excellent. The salads (Bibb wedge and Caesar) were good, too. Finished it off with peach cobbler and bananas foster bread pudding. Featured $40 wine (Italian blend) was just OK, but whites by the glass were fine. Not many patrons here on Tuesday night and the view of Willow and 15th through the large windows was dreary.

We had heard very mixed reviews but these were mostly right when they opened, whatever kinks they may have had they most definitely worked them out. Everyone of our party of eight thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. We had great service, Chef Pino came over personally to explain the menu and specials and we were well taken care of throughout dinner. I would highly recommend dining here and will definitely be back! Book a table today!

First time dining at this new option in Hoboken. The drink and food menu have sufficient variety to satisfy everyone's preferences. We opted for a few starters, the Charred Octopus & the daily special flatbread with prosciutto, kale & parmesan cheese, both were amazing. We also split catch of the day (red snapper) and side of mushrooms. Our waiter Jag was friendly for the minute we sat down until we left. He helped us select from a few of our choices and periodically checked in on us to make sure our drinks were refreshed and the food to our liking. Overall, this place surpassed my expectation and is a great new addition to Hoboken's restaurants to choose from. 5 Stars all around!

Really disappointing! $35 for brunch. Yes I get that it's bottomless Bloody Mary etc but;
The selection was rather minimal. Also, in a chafing dish was sausage/bacon/potatoes sitting in the grease from the VERY undercooked bacon, yech!!! There was a pasta in red sauce that was totally out of place and dry. The staff was friendly enough and the chefs offering was ok. All in all $150.00 for brunch was excessive if your not drinking yourself silly.

We came for restaurant week. Very cool spot - the bars and decor were awesome. Would definitely come back again for happy hour and drinks. Food was good! Nothing out of this world but the rest. Week menu was kind of simple. Overall, great spot and I'm sure we'll be back!

Really just unimpressed all around. I can't really tell what this place is going for - the food is expensive, ~$60-$70/person for app & entree, which is fine for a more upscale place, but then there are kids running around and hard floors that echo sound and make it really loud.
Honestly, if this restaurant were in Asbury Park, it would make a lot more sense. I don't think it fits in Hoboken.
Food was cooked well but not properly salted and there were large piles of pepper in spots as opposed to being sprinkled; just not really thrilling.
The ice cream was crazy good though, I'm not sure if they make their own or what, but it was really good. Otherwise, my response was "meh".
Unlikely we'll be back with all the other options in Hoboken.

Hostess was the worst I've ever seen. I watched two other groups walk-in and walk out because she was so useless. Wait staff was on point but food was average at best. Prices reflected Chef Pino's other restaurants and neither the service or quality of menu merits the price point. Will not be back and don't see this lasting long.

The brunch was good. However it was so loud I couldn't hear my guess conversation. I would recommend putting up some drapery to absorb the sound.

My wife and I have been to Porter Collins several times, and I've had a number of different menu items, all of which have been fantastic. The Pork Chop is the best I've ever had. There is no other space like this in Hoboken. The Sunday brunch is also great. This has become one of our regular spots.

After an initial mediocre experience, we gave Porter Collins a second chance. Big mistake!
Service was poor, due to inadequate staffing and inadequate training of staff. One of two cocktails was poorly made. Manager lavished attention on a table where her friends were seated and ignored the poor experience we were having just steps away. Both entrees were lousy -- as was desert which we were done with before coffee was served. A complete waste of time and money.
