Another great meal at Portale. One of the best kept secret in the WV area. There are a lot of good restaurants in the WV, but I would put Portale up against all of them with a much better atmosphere.

Service and food was amazing but I must comment on one host which literally had a frown the entire time and was not pleasant at all. Pretty off putting when all other staff was amazing and so friendly.

We love Portale and go several times a year. I mean love! Incredible food and service. Lovely people. Great setting. Great cocktails, mocktails and wine. Something you’d probably not think of ordering: their mixed mushroom dish is mindblowing. I enjoy with pasta when I go in. Love it.

What a fabulous night! Portale was on our list but we had never been there before. It is now on our go-to list permanently. The food (appetizers, entrees and desserts) was amazing. Service was perfect and the atmosphere was great. We typically stay in the West Village but not anymore. Portale was so enjoyable.

Great spot but not cheap. I would highly recommend. The food is outstanding...right from the warm homemade foccacia with whipped ricotta to the duck breast which was cooked perfectly....knife cut through like butter. The lobster primi dish was great too.
