I love Porta Via but they no longer take Opentable and the greeter was unresponsive to my concern. Someone needs to call their management or the owner Peter.
We enjoy Porta Via from the beginning to the end of our meal. Always pleasant wait staff, food service timely, happy choices and prepared well. Never have to wait for a table. Courteous welcoming, often the owners and our "go to" before theater at the Wallis. Our fave is pasta marinara, lamb chops or fish.
I am a frequent visitor to Porta Via, but on this visit, we had to ask several times for extra butter, and our dinner was not complete upon delivery. The food was good, as always.
Good food and great service. We were seated at a booth which was great but it was by the kitchen which was hot, smokey and noise. Salmon was delicious but side Brussel sprouts were just ok. Waiter was great! Nice restaurant! Will go back.
3 out 4 dishes came cold to the table. That joint used to do a far better job.
Child friendly; food was above average but nothing fantastic. Service could be better-we has to request for items multiple times. Nice of them to offer a taste if the soup...good thing because they were so bland we didn’t order it. Burrata sandwich was amazing!
We were seated inside near kitchen. Smokey smells from kitchen were unpleasant. Service was slow... we waited a long time for food and we only ordered salads! Shrimp were over cooked and inedible. Very disappointed.
Had a lovely time catching up with an old friend, the staff and the food were wonderful. The most delicious soup! I'll be back for sure!

This is usually our "go to" restaurant when we have tickets to the Wallis Annenberg Theatre. We enjoy everything about the restaurant. The food is delicious and the presentation is appealing

People watching, accommodating chef and great service. Even had the final play off NBA game available in the bar area to watch keeping the dining area free from media..
The food was wonderful, but we inadvertently ordered too much. The appetizers were more the size of tapas. I ordered the mussels appetizer and it was absolutely delicious and quite filling. I ordered just a salad to go with it and the waiter did not ask what size I wanted and brought me the entree size. This is partially my fault. I should have been more pro-active, but good waiters ask these kinds of questions. The same happened with my grandson’s portions. The waiter had to have known it was too much food, but he was happy to keep the bill high, which is short sighted. There are lots of restaurants along that road, which we will try before we go back to Porta Via.

porta via is a wonderful experience. I have had countless meals here over the years and they are always great! This is a gem of a restaurant in the heart of Beverly Hills without any fussiness or formality. And again this past Sunday, my extended family and I had a great brunch experience. The patio is reminiscent of a sidewalk cafe in Europe. The wait staff is always attentive and the vibe cool. I love to come here prior to the theatre at the Wallis, a casual dinner with friends, a business lunch, or weekend brunch. I think PV has one of the best burgers in town!
Dinner on Saturday night at Porta Via was quite lovely. The service was attentive and professional, and the food was quite delicious. We enjoyed the el fresco dining and will return to Porta Via soon.
Slow service. Food order not properly prepared and chicken overcooked. Multiple requests to turn on heat lamps outdoors ignored. To go order missing food. Overpriced for the quality. Won’t go back here again. Plenty of other better choices in the area.

We sat outside for over an hour very pleasantly, undisturbed. Enjoyed the food and the service. Would go back any time.
All was fine except when we showed our tickets to the Wallis, they were supposed to give us free quacamole. When the bill came, they had charged us for it. I didn’t notice until I got home. This was annoying.

Great service, great food prepared with love.
We notified them it was a birthday celebration both at the time of reservation and after we arrived. However, they forgot to address the occasion until after we paid the bill and then made a lame attempt to rectify the situation.
The food is mediocre at best, and the service was appalling, with orders repeatedly brought to the wrong table, slow (despite us informing server we had to get to a show), and server appeared never to have learned how to open a bottle of wine or pour it properly (she poured an entire bottle into 3 glasses to start), had to be informed by buspeople not to leave a wine cooler in the only free space needed to navigate to the kitchen. Branzino was mushy, halibut in mushy breading. Impossible burger about 1/8" thick. Beignet mis-shapen, so parts were dry and crusty while others were dense. Kale salad was edible.
We always enjoy dining at this welcoming neighborhood gem.
I love Porta Via. Always a satisfying and delicious meal. It's also very convenient.

I have lived here almost all of my life and cannot believe I didn't know about this jewel! The atmosphere, food and service were superlative.

Porta via is already so popular that I wish I could afford to buy out the place and eat there with dear ones all on my own. The sevice is great -- the food is wonderful -- there is an easy going quality while the service is as elegant as can be. It's wonderful.
One of us had the lamb and the other had the chicken both were good. Viktor was our waiter. I would highly recommend this place.
Very pleased with the whole evening.
Food was below average. One meal was returned and one other out of four was tasteless. $16 for a salad that could be eaten in a few bites. At least the returned meal was removed from the bill.
The waiter i had was horrible - i knew he was a bad and should have moved my table- i was sitting for 20 min - he never came over to take a drink order - i eventually walked over to the bar to get it myself; he never came back to take our dinner order and i had to walk over to maitre d for help. He ended up taking our order. I eat there at least once a week and love the restaurant
Nice waitress & attentive service from all staff. Tasty. But prices too high.
We are regulars who had a reservation but the only table available was inappropriate. Walk ins did better. Disappointing.
Met a girlfriend for lunch. I had a wonderful Cobb Salad and she had the Tuna Poke. Both were great. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the somewhat sunny day. The staff were attentive. Overall we had a nice lunch and a very nice time.
Our waiter was professional, generous, knowledgable - he made a great evening even better. The food was surprisingly special since this is a place I was unfamiliar with. Easy comfy booths. Nice wine. Pasta was a pleasure. GO!
