Really cool ambiance, but the food was way too salty. Service was also slow. Didn't seem like they were fully on top of things despite the restaurant being pretty empty.

Service was terrible. It took a really long time to get seated and once seated to order drinks. I am guessing they were understaffed but I will not go back there.

We were staying at Hotel Nia and had eaten here before. There were very few patrons so the noise level was low. Our server was very nice and efficient. It was an anniversary so they gave us a glass of champagne. My wife had the chicken and I had the New York steak. Both dishes were seasoned exceptionally well and the steak was rare just as I ordered it. We shared a bottle of Flora Springs Merlot.

Good food and cocktails despite limited menu, friendly gracious service, and just being out are such a relief after months of lockdown! Plenty of space between tables, good protocols = Covid safe. The decor is exceptional at any time.

We very disappointed from the level of food, the lack of drinks in the bar (ask for martinis, received margaritas), the lack of quality wine (had only two bottles of white - very basic ones) and the service was not good to say the least.

The waiter kept ignoring my friend. She ordered her steak medium rare and it came medium well. When I wanted some sauce, he ignored me.
Other than that, the evening was pleasant.

The food was not good. The cheese pizza dough was soggy and the tomato sauce obviously from a can.
Since the restaurant is inside the hotel- social distancing was not being observed at all in the hotel pool and other areas- there was a party with about 30-40 people happening- no one wearing masks, the pool had about 30 people in the area, including a dog- no masks. Very disappointing experience.

This is a hotel restaurant and the food is what you’d expect from room service. To be fair during COVID the menu was reduced and there was no one in the restaurant so hard to judge.

The parking is not clear and the signs have you end up on a tall parking structure where you pay something like $10 and hour. They validate partially for valet parking but that is without validation $25 flat tatey

The food was excellent however there was a mistake with a cocktail I ordered. I ordered a lemon drop which I think was expensive at $19 so they should gave gotten it right. Please imagine my shock and disgust as I take a sip of a drink that should have been sweet and rimmed with sugar but it was mistakingly rimmed with salt. At $19 a drink the bartender should not make that kind of mistake. Also, the acoustics are very poor inside the restaurant. Being barely half full it was extremely loud and hard to hear my partner from just across a small table.

Great food and great hotel but the most horrible chairs. Your choice is a great dinner in miserable chairs or sit comfortably elsewhere. I am tall but felt I was sitting low in a kindergarten chair. So also my other guest

We have never been disappointed coming here for dinner! Our absolutely favorite item is the shrimp scampi in the sourdough bowl. As an appetizer, two of us completely de-construct the entire thing, sopping up the last of the sauce with the last of the bread! I understand the menu is changing in January. We hope this item isn't removed. Porta Blu (in the Hotel Nia) is a beautiful venue... take the time to walk around the outdoor courtyard and enjoy all the incredible design details throughout the building. Food is wonderful. Service is superb.

It is a lovely location and the service was superb, but the food fell short. The soup was almost I edible salty, the fries were delicious but had a dangerously high level of salt. The burger was disappointingly overdone. No return in our near future.

We had a late dinner (9 PM) after a meeting. The restaurant is very eclectic in decoration and use of space, interesting views in all directions and some fun decor. We opted for a meal of small plates: tomato basil soup, rich but not heavy, scampi in a lemon cream sauce served in a bread bowl, a garlic flatbread - more like a pizza with arugula on top, you squeeze roasted garlic out o bulb to put on top, and ahi poke which had a delicious sweet soy sauce on it. We had a little too much bread in our choices, but there are lots of other choices. The staff was great very polite and friendly. My one disappointment was the wine prices which seemed a bit high. We did enjoy a bottle of Imagery Pinot Noir which was light and paired well with all our choices. Small plates were well priced we thought.

I’d like a little more variety in the menu for main plates, but there was a great selection of small plates/appetizers. The Thai chicken wings were great, crispy and flavorful. We also really liked the scampi in the sourdough bowl, great way to enjoy the extra sauce.

Come here quite a bit for business. Appetizers are always a big hit. Farm to table menu is seasonal. Some of our favorite staples are the avocado hummus, flatbread, and garlic fries. Bar has a fun vibe and bartenders are always attentive.

My husband and I had a lovely lunch here. We shared the cheese plate and a strawberry salad. We also had coffee drinks which were great. We sat outside and it was really peaceful and a pretty environment. I’d love to return for dinner and brunch sometime. The grounds are really nice. It’s a great spot & a real gem.

The only negative was not getting our parking validated. With the $$ money spent on dinner a $25 parking fee was outrageous. The waitress told us only valet parking was validated. Seems inconsiderate for those who parked their own cars.

It was not clear where we should park because they only had Valet parking so we parked in a garage next to the hotel thinking it belonged to the hotel because it didn’t say anything on the facade. It turned out to be Facebook’s parking lot and we ended up spending $20 for parking when we could have gotten 2 hours free if we had valeted the car. It wasn’t clear what the best option was and for that reason I would not recommend going to this restaurant and getting caught having to pay $20 for parking. We were there for three hours and 3 minutes and the extra 3 minutes cost us another $5.00. The hotel itself did not have a parking lot that we could use without using the valet and we didn’t know that at the time. Very disappointing. The restaurant and the food were very nice, but not outstanding in any way. The drinks were extremely expensive - not worth the price.

My friends and I enjoyed the ambiance, the service and it was so nice of the manager to stop by and say hello. We all enjoyed meeting him. My only disappointment was my entree, the lamb shank. I asked if the meat fell off the bone which is how lamb shank should b served. It did not and there was no lamb flavor to the meat. The meat had no flavor at all. I brought what was left of the shank home but when I opened it in the light, it was all fat. I tasted it again but again, there was no flavor to the meat.
I will come back and hope the next entree I order will not be disappointing.

This restaurant features Mediterranean Cuisine, although it is clearly someone’s “take” on Mediterranean food.
Nothing authentic. The food lacks the simplicity and purity of ingredients that Mediterranean food is prized for.
We ordered the waiter’s recommendation for our appetizer, supposedly their most popular, the baked buratta. The buratta was drowned in so much carmelized onion, bacon, and balsamic vinegar, that they might as well have used American cheese. The buratta, was ruined. The menu is limited, the portions small and the combinations weird.
Not rushing back.

Great experience, restaurant is very inviting, food was artfully plated and cooked perfectly. Ordered the burrata and the shrimp starter to share, both very flavorful. Then the black cod and trout sandwich for mains, great portions, flavors and textures. All very good, we will be back.
