The octopus appetizer is really good, the squid ink pasta main dish is good as well. The chili oil was not removed for the first time, but kitchen redid another one without the spicy oil after we tasted it. Sea bass was okay, but slightly over cooked because it’s a bit dry. We wanted to try the tiramisu but it was sold out. We ordered the crunch with mousse, and it’s okay. It would be worthy of the price if it’s made in house. Service is good but can be better for its price, the waiter was attentive.

Service in the bar area was extremely poor. Waiters were untrained, and did not know the answers to standard questions.. Waiting 15 minutes to be served a simple drink is unacceptable…. Especially when there were only four customers in the entire cocktail lounge, and five waiters/bartender. I will not return, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant was oddly quiet when we entered, and we soon found out why. The service was extraordinarily slow (despite being the only people in the entire restaurant, we waited about an hour and a half for our entrees). The wait staff made constant mistakes from bringing dishes to the wrong person, to repeatedly forgetting one of the people at our table had a dairy allergy. (they forgot to remove the dairy from her appetizer, and from the side salad which they served her as a replacement for the side that came with her dish which had dairy) They seemed confused about which things on the menu had dairy, and the menu also had several things labeled gluten free which we were then told were actually not gluten free. If you have a food allergy, I would HIGHLY recommend staying away. We did not feel safe here. To top things off, they completely forgot to put in the order for my entree. They offered to make it, but at that point we had already been waiting for the other entrees and apps for about two hours, so we decided to leave. Most of the food was alright, but nothing stood out, and it certainly wasn’t worth the price point of the restaurant. The one exception to the food being alright was the deviled eggs which tasted nearly inedible. The whole thing seemed like a massive failure of management. Whoever is responsible for running this restaurant needs to ensure the experience is significantly improved.

I'm pained to write this review. This restaurant was a favorite before the Pandemic. Employee shortages are common now, and only one woman ran the entire front... Cafe, serving and hosting. She started strong by speaking with the kitchen about my food allergies and taking my guest's order when she arrived. The food was good. Then she completely disappeared. No one cleared our plates. Ever. We had to ask someone to send her over for dessert menus. She said the kitchen was closed. Seriously? It was my friend's birthday, and I added that to the reservation. So, she agreed to coffee and Gelato. The coffee came and the Gelato did not. We had to ask again to send her back with the check. She didn't charge for the coffee or gelato, and after another long while, we received the check. Then, the valet charged me $32 because the 2-hour free parking expired. No negotiation. So, 1 Pellegrino, 2 coffees, a burger and a chicken sandwich cost $94. Oh, and my guest paid $15 to park in the garage. Grand total $109. Ugh.

While a few apps were quite tasty and excellently prepared (kudos on the burrata), the flatbread disappointed. Flabby, tasteless dough and watery, flavorless sauce. A glob of cheese over cold meat. We were disappointed, too, in the “winter squash” option. First, the delicate squash was cold and nearly raw (who serves chunks of raw squash?), and instead of pomegranate molasses, it has a few pomegranate seeds. When I wondered if they would cook the squash a bit longer, I was told that was how they served it. We’d wanted the deviled eggs, but they were out.

The food was fantastic but service was quite poor. We had to flag down a waiter for help to order drinks, order food, clean table (twice) and each time if we wanted water. We really love the food and decor but hard to recommend with such poor service. There were only 3 tables on a Friday night and the waiter and busboy walked around but never engaged unless asked.

Love this restaurant. I've been coming here since they opened a few years ago. The new chef is creative, and the menu is exciting! They managed my food allergies very well, except I think the grill had pepper on it and the broccoli picked it up. Luckily, it wasn't enough to trigger a huge reaction. The fish was definitely overcooked. So, everything tasted good, but it wasn't perfect like I usually expect from this restaurant. That said, I'll definitely be back.

The food was okay, although it was almost cold. We just ordered small plates and everything came at once. Valet parking was an issue. You are allowed 2-1/2 hours for parking. It took a few minutes to get our bill paid, and by the time I was outside, I had exceeded the time limit and was told I would need to pay the $30 fee. Happily the Valet supervisor was there and she dismissed the charge. We spend $200 for a few drinks, a few small plates and tip. Pretty expensive.

The ambience for a Friday night double date was great but the food and drinks was sub par and questionable. I ordered niçoise salad. It was Roman lettuce with dressing drizzled over. That’s it. There was nothing about this salad that made it niçoise or justified it costing $32. The menu shows NIÇOISE SALAD soft egg, haricot verts, seared tuna, none of these toppings were on the salad. We also ordered the steak STEAK TARTARE—tasted ok but we noticed that some parts of the raw meat was brown, that doesn’t seem right for fresh uncooked beef. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for decent dining. Maybe happy hour is a better.

Very lackluster garlic fries that were madly overpriced and also cold and boring bear tart dessert that was also very overpriced for tasting like nothing more than a local coffee shop breakfast treat. Overall felt a waste to pay >$30 for fries and a small tart. I could get a full dinner elsewhere for that.

We were three of probably ten persons dining that night and got lots of attention from the staff. We started in the bar with some cocktails prepared by a very friendly bar tender who also became our server for dinner. We started with a hummus platter which except for carrots had some very interesting radishes, fennel and jicama to accompany it. My companions had the salmon and one started with a salad. I went for the Steak Frites, but the menu had changed to a steak with mushrooms in a nice wine reduction. It was rare as I ordered and tasted great. We shared a bottle of Oberon Merlot which was excellent. My companions ordered a chocolate desert, a lemon drop martini and a chocolate martini as well. Service was fabulous and we enjoyed conversations with the staff. A really nice evening.

We were staying at Hotel Nia and had eaten here before. There were very few patrons so the noise level was low. Our server was very nice and efficient. It was an anniversary so they gave us a glass of champagne. My wife had the chicken and I had the New York steak. Both dishes were seasoned exceptionally well and the steak was rare just as I ordered it. We shared a bottle of Flora Springs Merlot.

We very disappointed from the level of food, the lack of drinks in the bar (ask for martinis, received margaritas), the lack of quality wine (had only two bottles of white - very basic ones) and the service was not good to say the least. Very unfortunate experience

The waiter kept ignoring my friend. She ordered her steak medium rare and it came medium well. When I wanted some sauce, he ignored me. Other than that, the evening was pleasant.

The food was not good. The cheese pizza dough was soggy and the tomato sauce obviously from a can. Since the restaurant is inside the hotel- social distancing was not being observed at all in the hotel pool and other areas- there was a party with about 30-40 people happening- no one wearing masks, the pool had about 30 people in the area, including a dog- no masks. Very disappointing experience.

The parking is not clear and the signs have you end up on a tall parking structure where you pay something like $10 and hour. They validate partially for valet parking but that is without validation $25 flat tatey
