We find the thought of hanging out in our whisky distillery to be pretty exciting and we thought others would too. We’ve created a number of spaces within the building that you can hire out for corporate meetings, birthday parties, weddings, private tastings or high-level secret discussions.

We had a really lovely lunch in this very impressive restaurant and building. The food was really lovely and the service was excellent. Great ambience and even with thunderstorms outside the views were fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed - thanks 👍🏻

We were disappointed at the first course - 3 slices of bread and butter. My wife asked if she could get the dessert from the vegan menu but she was told she couldn't with no credible reason given. She was told they were too busy. The restaurant was less than half full.

Wonderful view of the port Leith area. Great choice of cocktails and whiskeys. We had small plates of gnocchi and burrata and tomatoes. Our starters of olives and sourdough bread hit the spot.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch which we thought was good value for money. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. If possible, book a window table for great views over the Forth.

Itison voucher. It is a set menu, not a tasting menu And giving 3 slices of bread and calling it a course is....well, not good enough (though it was very good bread) Haggis starter - excellent. Pannacotta - likewise. Coley main course - bland and tasteless and not very nice. Wine menu very small Felt it was oversold and under-delivered with no paired wines with "tasting menu". Highs and lows

Hello Anne, I'm very sorry to hear that you had a disappointing visit. We have been contacting bookings that stated they were coming for brunch in their booking notes to notify them that it is not currently running. We will review this method and perhaps contact all early afternoon bookings to notify in case people have not specified they are coming for brunch. I see that your reservation was for 12pm so you would have been offered our lunch menu, I'm sorry that there was nothing on it that you wished to have in lieu of our brunch items. I will send my details privately to you in case you would like to rebook and give us an opportunity to improve on this experience. Best, Helen

When we arrived at our reservation time of 11am they hadn't unlocked the doors yet: at 11:10 we called to ask and they very quickly let us in. Not a huge inconvenience but not the best start to our experience! The waitresses were all very helpful and personable, they couldn't do enough for us which was lovely. The bar area itself is just beautiful, we really enjoyed the ambience and the relaxed feel with the views. We had a cocktail each and tried the brunch menu. Drinks were lovely and served very quickly. The croissant buns are delicious, though we did think that the portions could have been slightly bigger as we left a bit hungry. One minor bit of feedback is that the croissant buns are served on top of a napkin on each plate. The napkins were stuck to the buns and ended up absorbing a lot of the syrup and butter. I think it might be better to just serve them on a plate without a napkin.

Hello Catriona, Thank you for leaving us a review. We are investigating the issue with the doors being locked at 11am - thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'm delighted to hear that you were well looked after by our team and enjoyed the cocktails. I will relay your feedback regarding the croissant buns to our kitchen. The brunch menu is a recent addition to the menu so all feedback is much appreciated. I'm glad that overall you enjoyed your visit with us. I hope we will welcome you back soon! Best, Helen
