   We were seating at a table for two - by 6pm the sun was literally blinding!! I had to hold up my hand. You shouldn’t seat customers there knowing that. It took away from the experience quiet a bit. Waitress was great. Tacos were fine - not great. Needed salt or more aioli. Price point is decent. It’s a nice venue and a good menu. The blinding sun was a surprise. I would come back

   Reservations at 7:00, we arrived at 6:50 and checked in. Some of the girls at front desk must be new. We did not get seated til 7:25 after noticing I got a text asking me if I still need the table? So confused, when considering we stood near the desk the whole time. No one called my name. But once seated the service and food was great!

   I haven’t been to port city in a while but went for the St. Patrick’s day menu. Two of our party of four had awful food. Almost inedible. Mine was ok but nothing I would rush back for. One of the meals was a regular menu item and not even the special menu so it’s concerning. They seemed to be overwhelmed with the amount of bookings?

   food was not good. Fish and Chips was a frozen food chunk(on St. Pattys day no less). Crab cake was more cake than crab. Nice views of the lake but food is not good

   Took husband to celebrate his birthday. We requested a table to overlook the lake. We were originally seated in a corner and requested the host to move us. We were moved with a great table next to the window overlooking the lake. The service was terrible. Dinner took 2 and a half hours and did not feel like a fun celebration. Typically restaurants are known to do something on birthdays like a slice of cake, etc. Nothing here and they do not acknowledge. Service was so slow. We were left without drinks many times. Food was decent but could tell it had been ready and sitting there for a bit.

   Took my husband and his family here for his birthday. It was and overall exceptional experience. The service was amazing and the food and drinks were perfection. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

    Gorgeous setting! Food is good, not great. Service is always iffy. I don’t u sweat and why we would have to ask for water and forks multiple times.

    My family wanted to come for dinner since we heard there was a new chef changing a few things up. We sat on the patio and the view was beautiful. I had a glass of Merlot, caesar salad and the pasta carbonara with chicken. Everything was delicious! The service, however, wasn’t the best. Our waitress didn’t come back often, and when she did she complained that another table of women were “holding her up”. My caesar salad came out only 30 seconds before our entrees, which was disappointing, especially because the person dropping the entrees off looked like a manager and didn’t seem to care that I hadn’t even had a bite of salad yet. So I felt rushed to eat both my starter & dinner while my family was pretty much finished up. I also would have ordered another glass of wine if the meal had been spaced out better. We’ll definitely be back though!

    The service is exceptional, five stars! Everyone in our party agreed that the food is delicious. Next time we will have the coconut cake first, it was "just like grandma made"

    Restaurant was out of the Lobster & Shrimp Sandwich. How can a Seafood Restaurant be out of this most popular item?!! We drove 45 minutes to have this for Lunch. What a disappointment! That is Very Poor Restaurant Management!

    When you for a "prix fixe" dining experience such as we had for Valentine's day, you expect it to be just that. Many of the starters and mains had "upcharges." I ordered "dressed" oysters for my appetizer (at an upcharge) and they came plain. I sent the m back and they came back with a sauce drizzled over them and were not "dressed" as had been described. Three people at our table ordered the sea scallops and we all commented that they were cooked to the correct doneness but were so over-seasoned with salt as to be barely edible. One of our party ordered the salmon and was pleased. There was no bread and butter served with the meal. Honestly the best part of this special date night was the company and certainly not the food.

    My wife and I were celebrating Valentine's Day dinner early. With an 11 year old we don't get out much on our own. We had a Saturday, 6pm reservation. Entree choices were fairly limited compared to other restaurants. There was a 20 oz. ribeye on the menu but they were already out. The only other option was a 7 oz. filet. I ordered the grouper and was served a very small piece of fish. One special cocktail with gin and lavender was $16! For dessert my wife wanted the flourless chocolate...guess what...out of stock on this as well. Come on! It's early on a Saturday night and it's 3 days before Valentine's day! Very disappointed at the overall experience.

    I have been a long term customer of Port City and would frequent the restaurant a few times a month, always bring clients here for meetings or gather with friends. Over the past few months, I’ve noticed some changes on the menu and some of my favorite items were omitted or completely changed (like my absolute favorite marinara sauce now tasting like tomato bisque soup), and more importantly, the increase in prices. I understand inflation and those cost have to be passed down to customers, but these increases seem excessive, especially when the food quality has decreased. I have waited months to write this review in hopes the changes I was experiencing would not be the new norm, but unfortunately these changes have. I am saddened that my go-to place will no longer be Port City and hope for the sake of the restaurant, the food and experience, go back to the way it was. Others have mentioned the same disappointment to me, and I hope they take the time to write a review as well, so the experience can be improved for future customers.

    Addie was absolutely amazing. The food was seasoned well and nothing left on my plate to take home. The young lady at the bar was very welcoming. My first time there in celebration of my aunts birthday. Will be returning very soon.

    This has been one of my favorite restaurants for the past two years. The menu has changed and now has bacon in a significant amount of the food, which limits selections for those who dont eat pork. Other previously loved items like the crab toast are gone. Overall, the experience is a good one. They were a little off with the cocktails and calamari was fried hard with no visible veggies. Butternut squash ravioli was good. Coconut cake was great!
