Lovely evening with friends. Service was great!
It was our anniversary. This is our favorite restaurant.
We've been here before and the service and food was excellent. Eric our server was top notch, ask for him.
Had to send my lobster back for more cooking. Brought my filet home to cook more. Was way too rare. Had to tell waitress it was a special occasion. I guess they were not informed by my open table reservation that we had a birthday at the table.
My favorite of all the Chop House's I've visited. Wonderful friendly staff.
We were very unimpressed by this dining experience. My tuna so full of membrane thatI could not cut it with a steak knife. Zero flavor. Three out of four meals were simply not good. So many great choices for dinner in the Wrightsville Beach area that I will not be going back. Unfortunate as well since it is so close to our home.
From the time we walked in till the time we left, nothing but friendly smiling professional staff. Food and service was excellent.
Our meals were delicious and cooked properly. Our server, Will, was kind and attentive. It was a nice meal all around.
Celebrating our son’s 50th BD. I ordered lamb chops - the others ordered steak. The steaks were very good. Unfortunately my chops were extremely fatty and strings of cartilage. I cut around the first chop but the second one was so tough and uneatable. I told the waiter that I was not happy with my meal. I’m assuming he told his manager- after clearing h dinner plates- he came back with a piece of lime pie for the table. Not the compensation I would have expected from this Restaurant. Especially paying $48.00.
This was our first time at the Chop House, we heard so much good about the restaurant. Unfortunately it was not my experience.
First time there it was great food place and waiter were on time
Some of the best food in Ilm, and the best steaks. We also enjoyed the lack of annoying, loud music so that we could actually converse.
Celebrated our anniversary with 2 friends. Large booth was comfortable. Service was excellent. I am not a steak eater but the all bragged how delicious it was as well as me about my lobster tail . I strongly suggest the loaded potato!! Great place, will be back !!!
Service was excellent! Our two crab cake orders and one Salmon order were very good. Our one $45 ribeye steak was very poor! The steak was no more than one half inch thick and overcooked as well as anemic in appearance. It was certainly not what one would expect from a premier steakhouse! We have had a similar experience the last two visits. More emphasis on your steaks please!
This was my second time eating here and my husband's first. Everything was amazing. We we're full before our meal came off of the complimentary bread and butter as well as our lump crab dip which we ordered as the appetizer. Our waitress was amazing as well. She ensured that we we're happy and kept our drinks full.
Try the tenderloin tips as an appetizer! They're fantastic
Great spot for dinner. Large portions. Great steaks. Nick, our server, was great!
Wonderful food and great service. Steaks were cooked perfectly and lobster tail add-on was delicious.
10/10! My waitress was amazing! Food was outstanding.
Chopped salad is outstanding. So was service by Andrew. Salmon was dry and overdone.
After making a reservation to celebrate 48th wedding anniversary, well in advance, being greeted with “now where will I seat you” wasn’t a great start. Server, Will, was an excellent server. He is basically responsible for our positive feedback. Atmosphere was noisy. Some edges of bruschetta for appetizer were burnt . Glad we had a gift card to help pay for our meal. Not in a hurry to return.
Great dinner with friends. We all had a wonderful meal and great service by Pam.
I booked a 7:30pm reservation on Open Table, but realized we needed to change it to 8:15pm. I called the restaurant and it was changed with no problem. We came at our booked time, were greeted and promptly seated at a nice booth. Four of us enjoyed appetizers, entrees and desserts. Everything was delicious, cooked just right and served by friendly staff. Thank you for another memorable meal.
Great food, great service all was excellent.
Really enjoyed this dining experience.
Like all places because of Covid, wait staff seems to be fewer so service a little slow, but basically the food is like always, pretty good…..
Great service as always. Best bar for drinks / pre-dinner drinks.
The food was just okay for the price. I had tuna supposedly cooked rare, but more like medium. It was basically tasteless. The Caesar salad was very good, and the dessert was middle.of the road. Went there with another couple for a birthday celebration, but the place was nothing special. The service was very good though, which likely swayed me from 2 to 3 stars overall.
What I can say about this visit it had marginally adequate quality at a premium price. I’ll look else where for fine dining next time.
Food was excellent. Ate early so it really was very quiet. Waitress provided excellent service.
My wife and I both had Filet Mignon, cooked to perfection, I may never go to Ruth Chris again. Kevin was our server and did a great job, he made the experience all the more enjoyable
We were treated special right from the time we walked in until we left. Eric was our waiter and he anticipated our needs, made great suggestions.
Wonderful evening with friends. Food was great as well as the service. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and service
Ordered the rib eye, I never mind paying for something if it is worth it. The ribe eye was highly disappointing. At $45 completely overpriced based on its quality. Does not match up to True Blue Steak House. It may have been just a bad evening being a Saturday and busy. I will give a second chance at a later date.
Celebrating a birthday with old friends, this was the perfect place!
Overall the food was just ok. Calamari was very very chewy which set the ton for an underwhelming meal. Best part was the skillet cookie for dessert. Our server on the other hand was great which helped.
Excellent yellowfin tuna cooked to perfection. Staff were all friendly and professional. A wonderful experience.,
This is one of our favorite steak houses. Tonight we had great service, great stakes and a perfectly timed meal.
Dinner with daughter and fiancé, and placed in one of the noisiest and congested sections of the restaurant. Hostess was less than accommodating.
Very nice place, with great food. They were out of some items on the menu, but there was still plenty to chose from.
I used to always come here on special occasions, but had problems in the way in which the meat was cooked before and now. When you order a 45 dollar steak rare, you should receive it the way it was requested. We didn’t send it back because everyone was digging into their meals and it would have been uncomfortable for my husband to wait for his food.
