Service was maybe the worst that I have ever seen. The manager should be fired. He/she are not paying much attention to anything. I am not sure what was worse the kitchen or the waiter.
The kitchen was slow. The waiter was slow. They messed up orders. The steak was actually fine and all of the help was friendly.
For an extra fee, you can get premier seating by the window facing out to the field along the third base line. Such an amazing view for the game and overall wonderful experience. Would definitely be doing again next time at the stadium.
Excellent selection and quality of food, excellent service and a great atmosphere where you still have the sights and sounds of the game while eating.
If you make a reservation using OpenTable it is very convenient and very helpful at check-in. The staff at the host/hostess stand do an amazing job of honoring requests for seating. They are super busy but always greet my family and me with a smile. The food choices are great, basic ballpark food, sweets, mini sandwiches, pastrami carving, cheese and meats area, Sunday omelette/waffle station. Hotdogs, pizza, meatballs, Ceasar salad, baked Mac and cheese and many more. My daughter was asking for bacon, so I suppose that’s the only thing missing in her experience. Lol. Our servers in the tiers section never disappoint and actually go above and beyond! Always make us feel comfortable.
I’ve enjoyed eating here with kids, for a date night, for girls day at the park. We will return!
Loved it we will be regular
A fun experience. Watching batting practice during dinner was a plus. We had the Market Table, food was OK, not great. Expensive for what they offered, especially with the $10 extra charge for window seating. Wine and beer price was reasonable.
Outstanding as usual, food was awesome, service was great. And the view of the field was spectacular. I would recommend this to everyone.
Season ticket holder. Thank god!! Almost got charged $44 for my son who only had a hot dog! Wow
Great spread for a pre-afternoon meal, with views of the field that are fantastic.
The staff was great and the pour a good drink. The Market Table was fantastic. The selection of Italian cured meats was great. The sliders we're really good and the Cesar salad was excellent. A classy way to tailgate at CitiField.
Everything was great. Quiet day so we weren't rushed sat for an hour and a half. Only issue was that soft drinks were not included in price and we only found out when the bill came. Waiter brought loads of water but didn't ask if we wanted any other drinks. All in all price was well worth it and we will definitely go back.
Unfortunately this is way overpriced for the type of food that they serve. I am in the restaurant industry and I have to say that the food is adequate at best and very overpriced. Pizza hotdogs burgers macaroni and cheese etc. are all very filling and there is only so much that you can eat. Much better value in the ballpark all things considered. I definitely would not go back to that specific restaurant! Citi field is fantastic as well as the entire staff however this restaurant does not hit the mark. Sorry but save your money!
Such an amazing experience I really enjoyed the food the people the service I'm so happy we choose to come back
Ryan was great. He provided excellent service, was not overbearing and made my dining experience more enjoyable. Table 704 on 9/23
this is the 4th time i've eaten here i find the lunch buffet much better than the dinner also there were no dessert choices on the buffet the food was average the hot dogs were especially good however for the $43 price i feel there could have been more choices
The staff was excellent. Our waiter, Yuri, was very attentive. The pricing was not out of line for brunch/lunch at a ball game or NYC for that matter. Overall, a wonderful experience.
Porsche Grille was a great place for pre- game dining. There was something for everyone , we were at a day game so we had an omelet station, but there was also pizzas. sliders, hot dogs and fabulous pastrami sandwiches. Will definitely do again .
Lunch menu is so much better than dinner menu, and dinner is 10.00 more. Much more offered during afternoon games. Don't know if I would do the night games there any longer.
The Porsche Grille is a great option for folks attending a Mets game to have a decent sit-down meal in lieu of the many types of sandwiches offered around Citi Field. The salad bar / marketplace set up has a wide range of choices while the dinner menu has safe, dependable options. The main problem with the Grille is that it's very expensive for stadium dining.
Overprice meh food + you're charged an extra $15 per person for a table with a better view of the field even when the place is empty.
I have been to this restaurant several times and have consistently received impeccable service, a variety of high quality foods and a great ambience. I will continue to dine at this restaurant in the future.
We went for lunch prior to a game. Only the buffet Market Table is available during lunch. Entrees, which include the Market Table, are available for dinner. Overall, a very satisfying experience. I recommend and will go again, hopefully for dinner.
Started off with drinks. They were reasonably priced and contained a good dose of alcohol. The Market Table was also reasonably priced in light of the quality of food. I think that there could have been more of a selection, particularly of hot dishes, but what was offered was very good. The John's Pizza, Mac and Cheese and meatballs were excellent, as was everything on the salad station and bread bar. On the other hand, the hot dogs were terrible and should be avoided. The deserts were okay but quite ordinary.
Service is very attentive. Our very nice waitress anticipated every need and responded quickly. She deserves an A++.
My 20 year old daughter and I had won a pair of Mets tix from the Daily News which allowed us entry into the Porsche Grill. The reservation was handled perfectly, they upgraded us to a nicer table with a view of LaGuardia airport/Flushing Bay which included the sunset over Manhattan. The food was excellent and the choices were outstanding. We both came with an appetite and still could not try everything from the market table which was freshly made. My daughter got the pasta with a creamy mushroom sauce which was fantastic while I just stuck with the all you can eat choices-all of which were fine. Suggestion: You may want to split an entrée as the market table will fill you up. We went before the game started so we saw no need to pay the extra $ 10 each for a field view but if the weather is bad or too hot/cold-this would definitely be a good option but this seating, unlike the overall restaurant, is limited so you would have to watch the weather and reserve in advance. I gladly gave the $ 20 I saved by not going with the terrace/field view as a tip to our excellent server Barbara who was not only very attentive (water always filled, plates cleared away) but was very kind in always asking us if everything was OK and patient in explaining how everything worked. This was a daddy daughter end of summer splurge before she went back to school and to top it all-the Mets actually won! Will love to take my whole family next year but this is a splurge which will cost you about $ 50 per person, not including drinks, tip or added entrée, but the food, view and service can not be beat. Enjoy!
This is not my first time there. I have been here about a dozen times. The manager Rodger really took care of my table for the night. Great services all night round.
I had a great time...tyvm
The ambiance, cuisine and service were all excellent.
Great variety of food choices as well.
Additionally, it offers a spectacular view of the field--- which is a pleasant feature when dining.
I have always had a good experience until this time. My daughter was going away to college and this was her last Mets game this year. She wanted to eat at the PORSCHE Grill again. We both ordered the steak but hers came raw. The waiter Paul was great as usual and apologized and took the steak away. It took over 40 minutes for my daughter to finally get her steak. What a poor experience.
Again our waiter Paul was great but it would have been nice if a manager would have offered a discount or something for the long wait.
The Grill does not make it easy to confirm seats on the patio, but once you get reservations there it's fantastic. We were there for the second year for a family reunion! Our waitress was the best... Michele D.
It is perfect for meal before the game.
Thanks for a wonderful dining experience
I have been here before, it seemed you had less selections of food, there were no sliders or sandwiches on Thursday night, but I had them at another time I ate there
Good food but terrible mixed drinks (based on trying three of them).
Great way to watch a bad baseball team. Everything was first class with a great view of the game.
Dining experience was poor. My wife and I were told that we needed to complete our meal in a hour and 15 minutes because they were busy tonight and needed the table for customers coming in at 6:45pm. During the meal, my wife and myself needed to send back the pork chop entrees to be cooked some more which took some time. This was done gracefully by the server.
Unfortunately, my wife who is wheelchair bound and has a dx of Stage III Cancer needs to eat slowly. At 6:55pm, two employees abruptly and rudely removed 2 chairs not being used from the table. The server apologized for the rudeness of the 2 young women. I jokeingly said to the server" they will be lifting and taking the table away next". The server asked if we were interested in coffee and dessert but we refused. I paid the bill which came to $200.00 ( which included the tip to the server). We left the restaurant to watch the Mets lose again to the Yankees.
I love going to the Porsche Grill! The manager, Roger, is exceptional and very accommodating. I highly recommend this dining experience and I hope to be back again soon
The food was fantastic. The hot dogs were great, the buns, the cheese, the pasta. Everything was perfect. It is as good as a "nice" buffet in Vegas. Not a ton of variety but everything was perfect, high quality, and delicious.
The food is ok, the service is good but really, it's all about the experience and the view. Took my mother in law's for her first mets game at Citi (she's been a fan since '69) and the "upgrade" to the tiers was worth the extra $10 a head.
All in $80pp after tax and tip is definitely too much but for a special occasion it was worth it.
My husband and I sat along the windows and were able to watch the game from our table. It was great!
Great before a game. Great value and selection of food.
Always come to Porsche club. Many reasons.
I've come with friends and for special occasions. I've come with my family on a regular basis. We always find something to eat and it's yummy. I've been for brunch and for dinner. The wait staff has always gone above and beyond, especially Raul. The host/hostess staff is always smiling and willing to accommodate. They have offered tiers seating if available and have done their best to accommodate any special requests regarding seating (we have kids-keep us away from main traffic, we are celebrating and would love to be seated by the glass). Was even super nice when we celebrated a double birthday.
