El Poros es una sofisticada marisquería al estilo estiatorio del Egeo. Un Estiatorio es un restaurante griego más formal que una taberna. El establecimiento sirve una gran variedad de pescado fresco traído diariamente desde el Mediterráneo y el océano Atlántico Norte, así como mariscos y crustáceos exóticos. Visit our Chef Poissonier to hear about our fresh seafood selections flown in daily from the Mediterranean and North Atlantic fishing grounds. Ordering is easy: Select a fish, a size and a preparation. Your fish will be prepared to your exact specifications. Need some guidance? Our Poissonier will be delighted to help. If you prefer you may order at your table. We recommend 1 Lb to 1 1/2 Lb for whole fish and 5 Oz to 8 Oz for fillets. Our selection changes daily but typically include:

Made a reservation for 6pm. Traffic that night was horrible and we were going to be late. We called ahead. Staff (Krista) could not have been nicer about holding the table for us. Pre-concert meal. Service was prompt and everyone incredibly friendly

Not sure why I’m doing this review since Poros closed for good last evening, but in brief. We’ll miss it. Only negative was the price which I viewed as a bit high even considering the quality service, good food, fairly priced wines, and great ambiance. Too bad!

Had I known they were closing the business permanently in a few days I would have never made the reservation for my family. The bar staff was great as usual. The wait staff also good... This was all about the food! For the money a total bust! I guess I need to do a little research next time I book with Open Table....

Very nice. Sat outside and enjoyed it. However, multiple people walking by the restaurant were yelling profanities at us and other patrons. I know that is know at the fault of the restaurant though. I am not a fan of fish but found plenty of other delicious options. Only complaint is that it started to rain and instead of reseating ya they asked us to wait to shut the patio roof which took about ten minutes. Both us and our food was pretty wet by then.

It was great for a small birthday dinner with a knowledgeable wait staff and accommodating chiefs....very friendly hostess..the decor matched the theme of the restaurant...

We love Poros. The food is all so fresh and perfectly prepared and the service is always excellent. We had whole yellow snapper and 6 oz filet Branzino, both with nice crispy skin and just wonderful.

This restaurant is closing! We were told by our server they ran out of lamb last week, the tuna in the case wasn’t available to order, they are using a black marker to cross out wine and menu items on their menu, and basically they’re just trying to sell out their inventory. Our salad course came out before our appetizers, and our entree sides came out before our other appetizer was served (we sent them back). We were told they’re closing at the end of the month so our advice is stay clear. Supposedly an Italian restaurant moving in. We saw two other tables walk out after they were told menu items were not available. Too bad - great location and previously good reviews.

With regard to food- they serve this cold rice salad which I intensely disliked. Also, they serve pita instead of real bread-ugh. However, the fish was awesome. Might go back, but pretty expensive.
