The waiter was terrible. He leaned over all my family members almost touching them. I told him to back up and stop leaning on my aunt and my female cousins. He was not verbally disrespectful, but he sort of ignored me and I didn’t appreciate it. There’s a way to take an order you can stand up next to or in front of the person, not on top of them. I’ll never go back there again. Also, no one speaks English in this place. Is this still America?

Porky's is like going to 3 different restaurants at one time, seafood, bbq, and sushi. Whichever you try, it's all good. They offer an amazing number of dining options for a place of its size. Right on the water, it provides great views. The staff is polite, attentive, and helpful. Go there once, and you might return the next night like we did.

Wife’s order consisting of crab cakes was terrible. Overcooked to the point on being burnt. Was sent back and replaced by coconut shrimp that had no taste and was also overcooked. All in all a a waste of money.

Although we had reservations we were sat at the bar. We waited a long time for service when they finally sent over a waitress who was serving tables on the other side of the restaurant. This made our service very slow/difficult. The poor waitress ran and ran, however multiple people were just standing around the hostess stand not helping run food or drinks. The bar tenders would disappear.. we had to go track down our own bbq sauce & napkins. The only reason I gave them a three and not lower was 1) the smoked fish dip was great 2) our poor waitress did her best.

Like many other restaurants in Marathon, we always drive by and say”we should stop in and check that one out”. We’ll this was Porky’s turn. Not wanting to cook we decided to go out and Porky’s had a lot of open reservations. Was that a good or bad omen? Pulled in a little early and was given a nice table by the water. Tiny,(who is anything but) came right over and took our drink orders and welcomed us to the restaurant. Our waiter(forgot his name) was friendly and personable. Very attentive and just a very nice person. We started with a dozen oysters(very nice, fresh plump, and tasty). I decided on a full rack of ribs and wife had coconut crusted grouper, both pretty good. Of course takeout boxes were necessary and the ribs made great snacks and the fish became sandwiches. The staff works well together and food runners do a good job and service is quick and efficient. Looking forward to bringing more of the family when they come down to visit as the menu selections, quantities, and atmosphere make for great family style dining.

Waiter tried to deceive my family with gratuity. 4 adults and 2 kids. After a long period of time, after finishing our food waiting for the waiter. My father law and I gave the waiter our credit cards to split the check before he gave us the check to expedite our departure. When the waiter returned with the receipt to sign and tip, he did not include a detailed check/receipt with our entire order to see if the gratuity was automatically included. Waiter disappeared again and had to ask a co worker if the tip is automatically included. He told me it’s up to the server of parties 5 or more… I asked for a detailed check.. our server reappeared with an obvious discomfort in his behavior as I knew he tried to fool us. I didn’t like that experience at all.. unfortunately makes me feel like I don’t wish to return

First of all, Shane was a fantastic server!! He was friendly and helped everyone with their questions about the menu. There's a nice variety on the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the guitar player was good too.

Lobster bisque was sub par, there was no lobster meat in it. Our dinner was wonderful though, the portions were huge. The deep fried key lime pie was amazing! I highly recommend ordering that for dessert!!

Great food, great setting. The service was off as it took a long time to order and then 6 of the 8 individuals in our party got their food but the two who ordered sushi got it almost 20 mins after. All evening it was hard to locate our server!

Ordered prime rib special. Came out looking like a steak. Questioned server and said it prime rib. Dry overcooked piece of meat. Food came out so fast I'm sure it was precooked. Told the server I didn't care for the prime rib and he told management who gave me a free dessert. Typically the meal should have been removed. This place did have live music.

First visit to Porky’s was for Sunday breakfastIt my husband and I both had egg dishes, my husband’s with bbq pork, both were delicious! Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s very good. Ended with trying their deep fried key line pie, which we weren’t sure about a first but OMG it was fabulous!! Really enjoyed sitting by the marina. Went back for dinner and I had BBQ pulled pork and husband had snapper again both delicious! Also, enjoyed their coconut mojito! We shared a slice of regular key lime pie not nearly as good as their deep fried one. Enjoyed the live music. We went back one more time for breakfast before we left Marathon. Another great breakfast. My husband had the same egg/bbq pork platter and I had the challah bread French toast my favorite! Until next year Porky’s…

The food at Porky’s was really delicious. The happy hour prices for these was great. The sliders didn’t come with a side but for a $9 happy hour price they were delicious and more than enough.

Solid atmosphere with live music on NYE and full restaurant quickly seated with reservations … BBQ was mushy with lots of fat ordered both pulled pork and baby back ribs. Additionally we had to send back pulled pork because the food was room temp at best with cold cheese on “cheese grits” that could even melt. If you’ve experienced good southern BBQ your experience will be below average.

They were overwhelmed with the amount of customers. Reservations didn’t matter. The bartender was our server and she did the best she could. Food was okay. Only warm by the time we got it.

Cajun grouper special with pineapple salsa was amazing (went back a 2nd night for it)! Great cocktails. Only issue was the crab: tried both their expensive stone crab and crab stuffed wahoo, and both times the crab didn’t taste fresh. Everything else amazing.

Fantastic experience, attentive service and outstanding ding menu selection in a “local” ambiance of casual but quirky dockside. Crazy good cocktail selection. We had the Brisket and Mac & Cheese, both were very good. The fried key lime pie (this is a signature dessert) was just okay, more sizzle vs taste. Highly recommend this restaurant, exceeded our expectations.

Not sure where to start…the food, the service , the parking, or what? Our server was lethargic, we learned about the specials by overhearing the server tell the table next to us after we ordered. She never came by to check on us and never refilled our drinks. She also did not offer any dessert menu, she just dropped off the check at the table. I was so disappointed we just wanted to pay and leave. The parking situation is horrible. Period. The food was all less than good in taste and flavor. We had a party of 5 and all 5 dishes among the group received thumbs down reviews from each of us. A lesson learned was don’t come to the keys and order barbecue, if you know barbecue you will be very disappointed.

Prime rib wasn’t edible. Ordered brisket sandwich as a replacement and was given pulled pork. The pulled pork was average at best. We won’t go back and don’t understand why this place has so many good reviews
