Porcini Ratings and Reviews
We enjoyed Porcinni very much. The food was great and nicely presented. The service was attentive, want more bread...no problem! There were some good, moderate priced wines on the menu. All in all we had a very nice dinner and evening.
Sorry to admit that this was our first time at Porcini's....but it won't be our last. I had the lamb chops which were best I've ever had. Earl had halibut special which was wonderful. Great atmosphere, and Kelsey provided top-notch service.
Porcini’s is consistently good. Very busy New Year’s Eve, and a slightly limited menu, but everything was great as usual. The salmon is always my favorite. Spinach salad was large and very good. Others had different items...all good.
Been here many times and hope to return many more, service is always good as is the food - this visit was New Year's Eve, the menu was limited - didn't cause me a problem however my wife's favorite dish was not available (bummer), she seemed to enjoy her second choice.
We enjoyed our meal here so much! We were greeted with a big smile as came in the door and the pleasant service continued throughout our meal. The food was great as was the Bellini’s. They did not bat an eye that our table of 6 consisted of our 4 well behaved kids (not babies or toddlers). We had a wonderful and memorable for our last night visiting Louisville. Glad we stopped by.
I took six friends to Porcini, two couples and two individuals none of whom had met each other before. Not having been to Porcini before, I was concerned that the ambiance might not be right or that the noise level might prevent interaction at the table. It took me little time to realize that I had chosen the perfect place. We arrived at 6:30 and didn't leave until almost 11 pm...not wanting to leave then! The interior is spectacularly beautiful and warm, and the service is professional and prompt yet unobtrusive with no rushing whatsoever. And the food was absolutely extraordinary. I ordered a spaghetti dish but asked for no garlic because of a speaking engagement I had coming up. It didn't need garlic. The accompanying seasoning and beans were astonishing. The atmosphere literally fueled the chemistry at the table, everyone leaving with new friends. I will be back.
It was our 21st anniversary and it was a hit or miss choice, We are so glad we made our reservation with Porcini.
The food was incredible, the decor was amazing, and the staff went way beyond the call of duty with their professionalism.
It maybe a new secret getaway more often.
