Was seated in the room on the east side of the restaurant. Did not care for the atmosphere. But, the Halibut special was amazing. One of the best Halibut dishes I’ve ever had. Overall, great as usual.

Overall it was a great experience. We made reservations, and the table was not ready for at least 30 minutes. A few guys in my group were not happy as they had gotten babysitters and their time was limited. Otherwise, food, ambience, staff, etc. was very good. I hadn't been to Porcini's in a while, and it was nice to be back.

Both food and service were top notch and made for a wonderful evening. Management was ever present on the dining room floor overseeing that no details were overlooked.

We had a fabulous Valentines Day dinner. The food was wonderful starting with the Blue Crab Cakes to the wonderful pastas. We had to ask numerous times for bread but all in all the food and experience was very nice.

I have previously dined at Porcini's and know about their quality. I have had good seating, great waitstaff, and great ambiance. This visit missed the mark for me: seated in a non descript meeting room and was placed at at table immediately next to the kitchen and weren't asked by the person seating us whether we liked it or not. We moved to another table on our own in the same room to get less of the hustle bustle of staff in/out of the kitchen. There was no charm in this room as opposed to the main seating area at Porcini's. The wait staff gave a very hurried description of the specials for the night. We ordered Salmon and the Halibut and a split salad. Food was superb.
Bottom line: we made our reservation early in late January and asked for a nice table but did not get it nor any explanation as to why. When we dine out we want it to be an event including great ambiance, an attentive staff both hostess as well as waitstaff, and great food. We appreciate the superb food. However, there are many fine dining restaurants in Louisville. I was not impressed with Porcini's this time and will look elsewhere in the future. Superb food was not enough to consider this a wonderful event.

Everyone from the host to the waitstaff was very friendly and welcoming. The service was quick and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the goat cheese as an appetizer!

Service and drinks were excellent. Have to say food this time left something to be desired.

Great meal. Awesome server. Ambiance was great aside from a very loud gentleman a few tables over.

Waiter was not attentive. Appetizer and entrees were excellent! Dessert was not up to par. No offer to replace or take off the total bill.

Wonderful! The chef was even kind enough to make an old favorite pizza of mine that is no longer on the menu. They said it was no problem because they had all the ingredients. My grilled romaine salad was delicious too!

Great place to celebrate a special occasion. The ambiance is very nice and the food is fantastic. A little pricey but worth the money (on those special occasions).

Can we all had a different meal fettuccine and Alfredo sauce but no chicken was excellent husband had gnocchi I think it’s called and he loved it he gets it every time we go there friend Mary Ann had pasta with red sauce and she said her dinner was excellent! thanks for replying I would recommend it to anyone! Our waiter was really good and he was very pleasant and very entertaining! Thanks for a wonderful dining experience!

My wife and I dined at Porcini's for the first time last weekend. The staff and food were awesome! The only negative was that there was a table of 6 who were very loud and took away from the ambiance of this treasure. We will be back!

We had party of 3 during Covid. We were spaced great and waiters had masks. Food was excellent and is consistently one of the best restaurants in town.

Food was amazing and the staff was great. Excellent wine list. Get the veal!
