   Overall experience was great. We requested the same waitress from our pass visit. Gia, still took care of us like it was our first time. She went above and beyond. We will always visit. Food was wonderful.

    We loved everything we ordered! We shared the Fried Green Tomatoes and I had a Bramberry mixed drink and my husband had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. For entrees, I had the Redfish and my husband had the Salmon. The carrots were wonderful on my husbands plate. He shared with me. Then we were going to order a dessert, but out came my surprise of a slice of Birthday Cake. Best place in the Memphis area to enjoy your Birthday dinner! Our only complaint is that you are too far from us to come more often. We live in Collierville and sure wish you had a restaurant that was closer to us.

    Bacon appetizer and side ceased salad with water and 2 sidecar’s was all I needed. My husband ordered the Tomosteak it was good and the loaded mash was delicious. It was an experience that I enjoyed and would add to my favorite restaurant list.

    We have had the pleasure of dining worldwide; that is throughout Europe, China, Singapore, Africa, etc. The meals have included Michelin starred as well as AAA rated multiple Diamond establishments. We were very surprised and even more pleased to find my hometown, Memphis TN, to have a restaurant better than any we have tried before. Porch and Parlor is, in my opinion simply the best.     This was my second experience. I’d visited the restaurant two weeks prior. Stark difference this go around, to the point of almost not wanting to return again. Let me first say that the food thus far has been consistent. It’s been good overall. The problem was simply the service. The first go round, the waitress was welcoming, attentive, up selling (appropriately). She went over the menu, provided the specials/made recommendations. This time and with this waitress, there appeared to be much confusion and a lack of attentiveness, to the point we almost got up and left. There was no upselling, not a lot by way of asking or clarifying what we wanted. We stopped another waitress to ask for bread. Not sure if the waitress this time was new, but when you’re spending that amount of money you expect consistency. It was Mother’s Day and I felt like I could have gone somewhere else with better customer service. There’ll be a third visit I’m sure. But it’ll be a really long while before I get back there.

    My sisters and I took our mother here for Mother’s Day. The entire experience was five-star. Our waitress Aden was absolutely amazing!! She was very attentive and pleasant. We never had to seek her for refills or anything else for that matter. We had the bacon rack, fried green tomatoes, and the steak egg rolls for appetizers. For entrees we had the Veal chop, New York strip, roasted chicken, and lobster bisque. None of us had any complaints about our meals. Everything was cooked and seasoned well. I recommend giving them a try, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again Aden for the great hospitality and service :-)

    We had a wonderful early Mother’s Day dinner. The ambience and overall vibe was great. The care and attention given by Perry, our server was top tier. She took the time to engage on our particular tastes and her menu suggestions hit the mark. Our party enjoyed an insanely well cooked combo of ribeye, sea bass and redfish. The sides rocked with the corn leading the way. We topped the wonderful experience off with the featured strawberry shortcake dessert. Amazing!!!
