Poquitos - Capitol Hill
Food was good and service was a little slow. Drinks had a lot of ice and not much drink. Atmosphere was nice and staff was pleasant.
The food we ordered was great shrimp and grits! The atmosphere was calm and quiet. The service was good.
Overpriced. Rice and beans were cold. Server wad nice.
Fun atmosphere-waitstaff excellent. Food delicious. Would recommend to others coming into the area.
The food is excellent and the atmosphere is low key but fun.
Great place to meet with friends!
Food and service was good
Steak tacos had a lot of flavor, the jalapeno queso was great
We don't go often because the noise level and music is so loud you can't enjoy the time there and you certainly can't visit with friends
Delicious food!! Loved the pork carnitas, guacamole, trio of tacos and enchilada suiza. Churros were a great finish! Definitely will go back!
The food was amazing, the service was great! This was a great experience and a great date night location!
Very friendly wait staff, and very fast service. Food and cocktails were great.
Food was okay. Not great. Not bad.
Drinks a little subpar. No creativity when customizing. Stick with what’s on the menu.
Oh, and no substitutions. Lame. They offer sets of 3 tacos, but I wanted to order an al a card
Food was just ok. $7 guac was VERY small. Chicken in the enchiladas was dry. Lots of flavor though...and spicy! Our margaritas were SUPER good!
I absolutely loved my experience here. My mother is not really a fan of Hispanic dishes, but she loved every bit of it. I will definitely be coming back with friends.
Super service and food!!
Great location with delicious food and drinks. Close to everything on Capitol Hill. Great for groups.
I would vote "maybe" on whether I'd recommend it to a friend. After our party was seated, we waited for 10 minutes and still no server. I finally got up to locate one and found a group of four servers having a chat! It was a warm night and I at least wanted a glass of water while we looked at the menu.
Service improved after that, but still...
This restaurant, as a whole, is mediocre. I did like the red chile based enchilada dish, but the rice and bean sides were sticky and mealy. Margaritas are weak. Pretty expensive for what you get. Not sure where authentic, tasty Mexican food can be found in Seattle (yet), but this is not the place. Stick to local proteins (fish!) and don't waste your money here.
The food was bland, little flavor to be a Mexican restaurant. Small size ok margaritas.
A great, consistent place to enjoy Mexican food. You cannot go wrong. The staff is friendly but not at all over the top. They want you to enjoy your meal as they know it will be good.
We were late for our reservation but they were able to take us anyway no problem.
Nice place. Food was fine. Very very loud even when 1/2 full.
Super friendly. went around 6pm and not super busy. Loved the food and the staff was very friendly. I got the enchiladas and a watermelon margarita. Will definitely recommend!
very good service, cool place and attentive wait staff - we were there for early happy hour like 16:30 so not too crowded but food was good and drinks were value priced
We went in with reservation, were seated straight away. We asked for happy hour menu, then one of the male bald server said we don't serve happy hour in the main dining room and just left us. He could have asked us to move and we wouldn't mind. Instead he just left us and kept ignoring us. What a service!
We had a large party on Easter and were well accommodated. The food was great and our server was attentive and nice. We always have a great time at Poquitos!
The food was good, the service was o.k. Large restaurant with different seating options.
Easter brunch was fun & delicious!
Great design, open kitchen, pleasant staff. The food was really good except it was so oversalted I couldn't eat it. Same was true for my dinner partner.
I would give them a higher rating except for this. It would be easily fixed, let the diner do the salting!
Great that we could pop in here on a busy Sunday with a large group and not have a wait at all. Our server was a joy and the food was delicious.
I remembered Poquitos breakfast from wow-ing me with their breakfast taco truck at Bacon, Eggs, and Kegs...and my first time to the restaurant for brunch didn't disappoint. I'll certainly be back for the chilaquiles...but probably with a smaller group. The noise level made it hard to hear everyone at a long table.
Loved this place, as a Latino family it is hard to find Mexican food we enjoy , however we had one of the best meals in Seattle here!
Great food and service with fun vibe. Guacamole is excellent, as are the fish tacos!
Vegetarian choices limited, food served cold, and used cheese to make up for decent cooking.
Excellent food! Try the carne asada with 2 sunny side up eggs. Incredible flavors from the sauce surfacing altogether! Definitely recommend to others to try it. I'll be back for more!
Great place in the heart of Cap Hill. Lively atmosphere, solid menu, good service and really good food. I recommend the mole pork chop. Only thing that kept me from a full 5 stars was the drinks seemed a little watered down to me. I had a marguerite and couldn't really taste any tequila. Other than that it was great.
We love poquitos and come here all the time! It’s such a fun atmosphere, and the chips and dips are delish! However, I don’t love any of the entrees on the menu. I realize I always want to go here but don’t actually love the food. Perfect for a drink and apps though!
The food was very good, however we were not able to enjoy our dinner as the timing of our appetizers and dinner was terrible. Within 5 minutes of our appetizers, our dinner was served. The asado platter quickly became cold, as we enjoyed our hot appetizer. We took our entree home where it is sitting now in the refrigerator. If we ever visit again, I will clearly talk about timing with our server. But many other options with good service in the area.
Outstanding Mexican food, will definitely return when in Seattle!
