Great restaurant in Bothell. Authentic Mexican food, not your typical Tex-Mex. We love going here. Great décor and ambience.

Service was friendly and prompt. Little slow for a Saturday but given the current climate most places are more quiet. I’ve been when it’s busy and it can take longer. The food and drinks were great. Highly recommend the carnitas.

Staff was great & food came out quickly! We had a large table, so very impressed :)

Food was horrible for the price. Compared to Cactus restaurants, not even comparable. Salad was awful. Burrito was bad. Corn pancakes are good. Queso looked like soup. This restaurant needs to step it up. Service was pretty bad too.

I adore Poquitos, I recommend it to people of all ages! The food is always great, and the service is always fantastic. I have never had a bad experience. This is definitely my go-to spot close to home!

Valentine’s Day dinner

Food is fine but not worth the premium prices. The place is very loud. Was not offered a second drink or even desert.

We were seated promptly for our reservation. Our waiter was a bit lackluster. No offer for 2nd drinks or even dessert.
Food was decent, but could have been better. My fish tacos had only 1 thin tortilla- most restaurants I go to stack two together so it is less sloppy. My 1 tortilla immediately broke so I had to use fork and knife to eat it.

Food, parking and location was excellent. Waitstaff service needs some work, had to ask for things (more water, drinks, check . . . ).

Went for dinner as a family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 7 and 14). Very busy on a Saturday night, and very very loud. Difficult to even hear the person sitting next to you. Food was good, obvious that much of it is made from scratch (warm, fresh tortilla chips!). Service was fair at best. Our server took our drink order and came back for our dinner order before we had our drinks. Our dinners arrived in 3 batches, we had 2 and 1/2 meals for about 5 minutes before getting the last full meal and then finally the second half (tortillas) of the partially delivered meal. We had to ask twice about the missing parts of our order. We were sort of rushed out and never even asked about dessert (she cleared some plates off our table and immediately brought the check with some plates still on the table). A kids menu and crayons even are offered and provided, which would make me think that kids are welcome, but it felt very much like our family was being rushed along and out the door. I've been previously with just an adult friend and had a very different experience where we felt welcome and well taken care of by our server.
The food is good, but I can't recommend going to dine-in as a family. Even without kids, the volume level in general is excessive and makes it difficult to have a conversation.

This was my first time at Poquitos, and I liked the vibe of the place, although it was very noisy and hard to hear my wife across the table. The salsas were different and most of them quite good. Entrees were a bit expensive for the quality of the food. My enchiladas were cooked and presented in a cast iron skillet, which sounds good, but they were absolutely immersed in red sauce, and not very flavorful. My wife's Carnitas were crispy as advertised; a lot of meat, but not a ton of flavor, even with the accompanying salsa. Serving beans and rice family style seems a bit of a stretch at these prices. We may try again, but not terribly impressed on first try.

Environment more than food, at least in my experience. Salsas were very good, my entrees have not been terribly exciting in terms of flavor. Agave marg was ok. Fun spot, guessing its loud when busier but thats part of the attraction for a busy Fri/Sat night.

The waitress didn't seem very familiar with the menu and the Pinot noir was disgusting. Otherwise, the food was good.

Great location and friendly service. Ambiance was good.

I made a reservation for eight at 7:45pm. One of our party arrived at 7:40 and was informed that the kitchen closed at 8:00. I was not informed of this when the reservation was made. I did receive a call from Poquitos a couple days prior to confirm the number of people. No mention of the kitchen closing at 8:00 was made.
The manager agreed to keep the kitchen open and take our menu orders until 8:15. The service was excellent! Servings were large and well prepared. Meat was a bit cooked beyond med-rare but over all everyone was pleased.

This is my best place to eat in Bothell. Best for a late night snack as well.

Super super loud. Super super busy. I think they might still be working out some kinks.
We have been a few time and the sound level has been hit or miss.
Also, they no longer accept the Passport card.

Second time here, love the fish tacos but do wish they'd substitute the sides with a salad.

Our waiter was great, the service was good. our waiter was very seasoned. he has been there since it opened.
The guac was made with overripe avocados. Not good. And it was expensive and the serving very very small.
Margaritas good but all ice and once again, small drink
you have to pay for salsa
and (not the restaurants fault) but at the two tables on either side of us...kids had large ipads/headphones (like they are at the movies! weird) and the other table next to us was a toddler with a phone and every time it timed out she would SCREAM and SCREAM until it was fixed. Again, not Poquitos fault...but what the world be like if a restaurant said leave your technology in your pocket...trying conversing instead??? Sorry got off track......
The restaurant was cold, their front door sticks so they leave it open.
My salad was SOAKED in dressing (I forgot to order it on the side), not kidding, really so wet the lettuce was soggy.
Husband ordered a dish with no sauce, it arrived with sauce. They offered to remake but by this time we just wanted to move on.
PRICEY place always loved the one on capitol hill, but I think I have fallen out of love.

Enjoyed my first visit to Poquitos during Seattle Restaurant week. Vegan options and tortilla chips made in Rice oil was greatly appreciated and GOOD! Margaritas were yummy (and I know good ones)!! Service was friendly and attentive. Only complaint was the water smelling and tasting like stale. Would recommend for sure and will return.

Lovely meal & drinks

Food was excellent and it was a fun Saturday night that me and a friend were looking forward to relaxing kid free with some good cocktails and drinks. Sadly, our server kind of ruined that for us. My first drink was not at all what I ordered and after waiting a while to find him, he acted as if it was my fault and a huge inconvenience for him to fix it. He brought us the bill when we still had our food (we weren’t planning on leaving) and when we asked if we could order another drink, he literally rolled his eyes and took the drinks, only to forget about us and bring one drink about 10 mins later and never bringing the other one.

When we asked for the bill, my drinks were still on there and when I explained that i never actually received my 2nd drink he said he was sure he saw skeins bring it to me (I felt as though he was insinuating I was lying?) overall, I ended up getting it off my bill but I would have much rather paid AND enjoyed another beverage with my friend.

Bottom line, great atmosphere, great food but service is what will keep me from returning.

First visit. Food, drinks, and service were very good. Extremely loud. Almost impossible to have a conversation at the table. Parking is a nightmare.

Excellent happy hour. It’s great that it is offered throughout the restaurant.

Favorite spot in town!

We had an early dinner. The food was great, our server was prompt and pleasant, and we enjoyed ourselves.

Servers we more interested in upselling than taking care of customers . The only time they came to check on you is to upsell you on something. If you wanted anything different it’s a charge.

Service was surprisingly awful considering it wasn't that busy. Food sounded amazing on the menu but was very blaned.

The carnitas were very tasty. The crunchy meat was really good. The guacamole didn’t have a lot of flavor. They have two sizes.....a small (a cup) or a large (which easily feeds 4). Salsas were just okay. I would have loved to have had some Pico de gallo. Also, I personally like to go to Mexican restaurants that warm their chips. The Sangria was good.

Fantastic brunch outdoors with a great table in the shade. Margaritas were tasty as were the entrees. Our server was so pleasant, fast and friendly service!! We were a party of 5(including a two year old). Table was ready when we arrived. All was great. Will return soon as this was a very relaxing and delicious dining experience!
