I made reservations the day before our dinner. It was for 4 of us at 5:15pm...and early dinner the night of a nearby concert. Two hours before our seating, I get a voicemail stating they were overbooked and they could still seat us, but we needed to leave by 6:45. That was fine...just an annoying message to get, but I get this happens sometimes. Anyways, we get there and the waitress was clearly overworked and stressed about the overbooking...she made sure to let us know, not once, but twice that we needed to leave by 6:45. The food and drink was delicious and just adventurous enough to be different, but in a tasty way...unique flavors you would never expect. If it wasn't for the pushy attitude, we would have had a great time. We weren't even asked for refreshed drinks...we had to flag our waitress down and then she seemed annoyed that we were ordering more drinks...like we weren't going to be out at the time she needed us to be out. My husband actually asked her if she would prefer that we go across the street to get another drink instead of sitting at her table...she didn't answer. All of this becoming more and more annoying when there was only ONE other table in the restaurant....It was a large group table and they were busy at the bar, but that was it. They had 2 waiters working and one bartender...clearly not staffed for the concert. Overall, ridiculously cute place, great menu, awesome drinks...and ridiculously rude service that I just don't need and I'd choose to go elsewhere. Too bad because their sangria is the best I've had!

The owner/host remembered my name simply from the reservation. Very personable and attentive. She took time to describe the dishes and was very accommodating. The soyrizo sliders and the arepas relleno were a treat for the taste buds. Well stocked bar. I highly recommend this place. It was a serendipitous find and perfect for date night for my wife and I.

Delicious tapas! We'll be back (with friends). Best empanadas I've had. Great white wine sangria, and fabulous potatas bravas! Our server was great and made excellent recommendations.

Extremely underwhelming. I was very disappointed in the food: fried, fried, fried.

I have eaten at Poquito several times with my 20 something year old daughters and their friends. The menu selection is large, diverse, fresh and flavorful. We always order plates to share, which is fun for a group. The sangria and cocktails are consistently yummy. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Dogpatch.

The potatoes were generous, the ham croquettes were tiny. The tacos with jicama "tortilla" felt fresh and delicious.

Based on reviews and menu, we had hoped for more. The prices were high for such small portions and the food was boring - I'm pretty sure there was thousand island dressing in the tacos? Also the small plate menu was fun but lacked any protein based options.

Enjoyed small plates of flavorful, well portioned Latin American and Ecuadorian foods shared between friends. The service was great and beer and wine selection decent. Definitely a hidden gem worthy of checking out.
