Awesome gnocchi, wine and service! We were there on a night with live music, so it was a great evening out!
We sat on the patio and could still hear the fun music from inside. Our server was super nice and very attentive. Overall, we very much enjoyed our food & drinks!
Service was friendly, but slow. Food was good, but portions were not exactly "family style". Overall good, but not great.
I absolutely love this place, however this time fell a little short. Me and my husband were sort of celebrating. So, July 31 was supposed to be out wedding day, but bc of covid we changed plans. We had planned to get married at The Rust Belt, in Ferndale, so obviously it felt necessary to spend this day in Ferndale. Pop’s is where my husband proposed to me so it only made sense to make our special night there. Ordered the Garlic Loaf and it was so beyond delicious. My husband got the wild mushroom pasta + chicken and I got the gnocchi. His food was delicious, no complaints. However mine was somewhat cold, still delicious but just not the right temp. Other than that the night was fantastic. I will definitely be back.
Pop’s is always a wonderful place to go eat but they made my birthday with my family very special. The food was amazing and the service was great as always!
Great dinner experience. Even though we had a reservation, they were very busy and unable to seat us at our assigned time. Management displayed incredible courtesy and empathy for the situation and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They turned a potential negative into a positive ... well done!
Food is always excellent!
Great value and service for the money. We are going to Pop’s twice a week now. So glad we found it.
Another good time was had! Veal dish was delish. Paying for bread $6 was unanticipated but flavorful. Calamari app was large but lacked taste.
Will return for additional tastings.
Always spectacular. Miss their happy hours as it makes the experience more affordable.
Great food in awesome environment. Great service by Tanisha
The food was quick and tasted good. The side salad we didn’t realize what was in it and my partner is allergic to the veggies out in it so we didn’t share that plate. Otherwise very good.
The food was very good, the restaurant was full and my waitress was had tables in several sections so she was very busy.
Server was super busy took 1 hr for us to get to our entrees. We had a party of 10 and they struggled to separate our bills
Amazing as usual. Service, food, everything!
Whenever we crave homemade Italian food, this is our definite go to!!
Service was amazing!!
Fun place with excellent food. Very reasonable dinner prices.
10/10 every time!
The bartenders are fantastic, shoutout Alyssa & Felicia for always taking care of us.
We enjoyed our appetizers: breaded mozzarella, spinach and artichoke dip and a garlic loaf
Entrees were delicious: Gemeli pasta, Carbonara, Chicken Piccata and Veal Marsala
Dessert was awesome: Sweet Pizza
Our waiter Zach paced our meal out perfectly and sold us on his recommendation for Alisa Malbec
This was our second visit to Pop’s in four days, and the service, quality of food, and low prices were again highly commendable. We are going to make Pop’s our favorite destination for culinary delights. The loyalty program also looks superior to other locals.
Worst service ever. Took almost 20 mins just to order a drink. Never got the bread we ordered- twice. The restaurant was not very busy. This is the third time Ive been there and the service just gets worse each time.
Food was great. We frequent this establishment often. Typically, the service is outstanding, but our server may have been having an off night or just had too many tables.
Delicious brunch food, a giant mimosa dispenser, and really attentive, lovely service? We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Great food and drinks. The only issue is the restaurant has a funky smell in it. I’m not sure what it is but it’s strong.
Staff was accommodating to our large party !
It was recommended to me by a coworker and I’m so glad he did had a great time and a great meal
Been here twice for brunch. Rating today is for the two brunch meals. Their brunch menu/food is just okay.
Dinner menu is better. Been to Pop’s 6 - 7 times for dinner.
Brunch 1 they got the food correct. Brunch 2 had issues but the servers were responsive. I think the idea is food and liquor together creates the experience. I prefer a better job with the food.
I think I’m going to avoid Pop’s unless it is dinner time.
Excellent! Didn't know they had brunch and we were so impressed! Huge, diverse menu - definitely something for everyone!
Great! Enjoyed everything about it! Food, service, ambiance, etc
Always great food and overall good dining experience. Managers constantly visible and checking in.
Tasty cocktails, delicious food and our server Tiffany was attentive!
I might suggest the place be aired out. It smelled weird when we first went in.
Otheriws all good.
Amazing food! Typically with Italian, a salad comes with the dish. Would just appreciate a little better of value instead of everything being ala cart. My server was amazing. He was very sweet! Ambiance is beautiful. Will definitely be back.
Everyone was really friendly but the food was not up to par. One Pasta dish was over cooked, two other pasta dishes were undercooked. It was difficult to flag anyone down and most of the food went uneaten.
Had the chicken parm- delish and Derrick had the chicken piccata which is my fav
Food wasn't really all that good -- lacking in flavor. Had to ask for parmesan and pepper. Parmesan was clearly the pre-ground stuff you get in a cannister and the pepper came in little packets. Not appropriate for a true Italian restaurant.
Great brunch with a variety of selections. Their specialities are a mimosa tower (minimum 3 people) and Monkey Bread.
Food was excellent, server was prompt and friendly
We wanted to sit outside so they seated us at the bar for drinks and gave us the next open table outside, maybe 10 minutes later which was wonderful. Our server Erika was so great. She was very friendly, attentive and fast. The food was delicious of course, but we already knew that!Excellent overall experience.
This was my first time dining here. My experience was good. I ordered nona’s bolognese with meatballs. The meatballs were the best I ever had. They were tender and cooked perfectly. The Pop’s chopped Italian salad was perfect too. Highly recommend.
