We were there and enjoyed their chef's wonderful prix fixe dinner menu for Valentine's day.
The food was great. We had a preset dinner but it was super small portions which were for two people. We walked away hungry. The desert was a chocolate fondue but was just weird having hardly anything to dip in it. The seating are we were sat was very cramped and every time a server had to walk by we had to crunch in. One time the hostess seating the other couples walking by was actually rude about it. There was plenty of space and there was no reason to sit couples back to back making the area impassable. Made for an awkward valentines dinner
Still some fine tuning needed on the brunch menu but overall a very pleasant place and staff. We ordered eggs Benedict. It came to the table on a plate with no side dish at all. Something like a small fruit cup is needed.

The food is outstanding and the service was top notch. We loved the ability to dine and take in the artwork and outstanding decor. We started with a drink on the rooftop bar which has a 360 degree view of the mountains. A great spot for a date night or drink with friends.
Very good first impression. Food was delicious and well presented. Staff was friendly and attentive.

New Year's Eve
Parking was disappointing-valet employee appeared to have been picked up off the street. A better arrangement for self-parking should be considered. Not having courtesy valet parking and charging $5 to park in front of the hotel was off putting. Also, the web-site listed the restaurant as business-causual. My party dressed appropriately, however most male customers were wearing Levi's as were the waiters. I had planned a surprise birthday dinner for my wife including guests and the first impression walking in to the restaurant made me think I had made a bad choice.
Great experience for such a new restaurant. Definitely will put Poppy on our list of go to places.
Great atmosphere and delicious food. Upstairs bar was an awesome bonus!!
The food was amazing, and we loved all the local art. Afterwards we went up to the rooftop bar for cocktails, and the views were spectacular. We’ll definitely be back!!
Okay I love this new restaurant! It just opened last week and it’s seriously impressive. We came for brunch and the food is incredible and definitely worth trying. Loved the BLT, the chicken & french toast (great spin on chicken & waffles), and the sweet potato hash. Big bright windows and a fun ambiance.
We had a great meal... Matthew took great care of us and was well versed in the menu. The cocktails were fantastic and the food was very good. Dillon and Melanie also made sure our evening ended on a high note. My favorites were the Poutine, Melon and Cucumber Martini,and the Apple Fritter Bites. It’s nice to have an amazing new spot to dine when I visit my friend downtown.
