   We went to there primarily because we like to try new places and we had driven by it so many times we thought it was time to go. Service was very good, ambiance was terrific, staff were attentive and the food was served hot and tasty. We have already recommended this to friends.

   Everything from the breads to the mains to the deserts and coffee is excellent. The cannoli, holy cow, I almost didn't order it because I was stuffed but am I ever glad I did. It was sublime. The service is excellent - fast and exactly what we needed, exactly when we needed it. The Carpaccio di Manzo was perfect, as were the lambchops. Really, the lambchops made my eyes roll into the back of my head. We found a new favourite restaurant, please stay away so we can always get a table when we need it :)

   The last 2 times I have been disappointed. I brought the same friend twice and she wasn't satisfied. First time the lasagna came with plastic melted on top. (Should have comped her entire meal not just the entre). The second time we asked to take the rest of the meals with us and I got mine but my guest got hers thrown away. When we asked(the hostess) apologized and that was it. Wasted Money on half a meal. The service the second time could have been better. The waitress was run off her feet and did the best she could. It was just before Xmas and more staff should have been brought in.

   Great time had by group that attended. Our waitress was great, good personality etc but the service was a bit slow. Food was excellent. Had one of the specials and thouroughly enjoyed it.

   Poor Italian is a great goto if you don't want to venture downtown or have guests coming from the Burb's. Very solid Italian appy's, share-plates, salads and especially the pastas which are perfectly prepared, a good deal and great fun for dining en-famille. The entrees are equally good but the prices of these are inching into downtown range, so while excellent, they will come up a bit short for the price conscious and the veggies can be somewhat on the assembly-line side. Wine-list is short but does the fare well. Can get loud and busy. Service often slips a notch when things get going. They do need to work on their payment system, they have a tough time billing individually within in a group or having the bill split up in different ways. These small detractions aside, it's a fun Italian experience and taking your time with food, wine and friends is what the PI is all about. Recommend for business expense lunches, dates and pre or post downtown activities like theatre, movies or games.

   Loved the restaurant. Tables are not too close together. Staff is excellent. We had a great evening. Will definitely go back.

   Very disappointed - poor service, meals arrived at different time, waited 1 hour between appetizers and meal, food quality was marginal. I had a very standard Caesar salad - Costco quality - and ordered the "jumbo shrimp and scallops" which really an embarrassment for Vancouver. The scallops were over cooked and tiny - the size of quarters. If you are looking for an Italian meal in Vancouver there are lots of other options - my recommendation is to go elsewhere.

   First time we went to this restaurant we had a great experience. Food was excellent as was the service. Restaurant is a little cramped but not to bad. This last time we went there once again the food was excellent but the service was terrible. We will try it again as I'm hoping the service was an anomaly.
