   Wedding Anniversary. Server was excellent and the food was outstanding. Will be going back for sure.

   Nice environment. Waiter recommended the Mr Crispy which was very fatty and not enjoyable. Quiche with jalapeño was very good.

   We were there before a show, and they got us in and out in a very timely manner. Our server was very attentive and he had gorgeous smile. But the place is VERY loud. We were screaming across the table. Okay so we ordered Mac n Chz, egg rolls, pimento chz, and hamburger. The skillet Mac n chz looked like hamburger helper if I can be frank. The presentation and the noodles floating in what looked like white queso with Cajun seasoning was a turn off immediately especially when you take in consideration the cost of it all. The hamburger was nice but it came out on a wood plank way too small for the size of the burger and fries. A mess was impossible to avoid. The egg rolls needed more slaw and less meat. It was good but it definitely could have been better. The pimento chz was on point, I could have eaten a lb. of it. Great concept poor execution. And the manager/host very loud when engaging with customers. When I spend that kind of money on a meal part of that cost is to support the ambiance. I didn’t feel that.

   The food and cocktails are amazing, great atmosphere (even though I felt too old and not quite cool enough to be there) and wildly friendly and attentive staff. You would be doing yourself a great disservice by not ordering the “Safe Word” cocktail (or four of them, or whatever)

   Great brunch for me and my granddaughter before heading over to the Orpheum. The table was ready with a "reserved" sign on it; the service was quick, friendly, and efficient. I had checked "special occasion" on the reservation request since it seemed the most accurate. They brought champagne for a toast and my granddaughter (who is only 16) politely declined. We all had a bit of a laugh and chatted for a bit. The "Mister Crispy" and "Crabcake Benedict" were both delightful; fresh and well prepared. We will be back.
