Hello, bit difficult to be too harsh as the people are great and wish them well. However, apart from a very nice entree our four diners ordered the chicken dish. It came in a small ramakin with almost no chicken and the remainder of the bowl filled with rice, capsicum and other small offerings of vegetable. We were all disappointed and thought the mains were absolutely no value for money. Four bowls of rice, one shared entree and a bottle of nice French Champagne at $80 a head was a bit rich.

Everything was as good as anticipated. Thanks for the very good food and service. A little more offers of wine by the glass would be a nice addition and a different Playlist may be nice ( contemporary French and Belgian artists are doing very well lately). All in all a great experience, highly recommendable.

Fabulous little gem tucked away near the Portsea Pier Great ambience, extremely attentive staff, delicious food, top shelf wines , spirits, champagne at a very reasonable price point. We’ve waited a long time for this and we’re extremely grateful for the opportunity to experience this amazing experience in our own little neighborhood. What’s not to love!

If you are looking for a fine dining venue other than the pubs, there are few options between Sorrento and Portsea. Portsea in particular has lacked in this space especially. Thank god for Pompette. The bar has a great atmosphere and mood. Staff are vibrant and the wine and food offerings are outstanding. would be my number one choice in the area.
