   The waiter ignored us for most of our visit and I had to ask for the bill after spending 90 minutes there for lunch. The fries were cold and I was supposed to get chips anyway.

   This is a chain restaurant near other chains. The coconut shrimp was terrible, like it was fried in old oil. The oysters very good. The burger passable a frozen patty. Didn’t try dessert assuming it would disappoint. Waiter was very nice, however, when we sent back the shrimp, he said many customers complain about it. Maybe a heads up if it’s that bad. Would not go back, too many other choices in the area.

   Made a reservation but when we arrived there was not a table available. We only had to wait maybe 5 minutes. The food was ok, but was expensive for what it was. It was nice to hang out with a friend for her birthday however. The server was really nice.

   Sorry, this time we were not thrilled. Took our waiter some time to come for a drink order. Husband’s seafood was overcooked. Mine was properly cooked, but baked potato was lukewarm at best. Waiter was scarce. Didn’t come so see if food (delivered by a runner) was OK or not. Restaurant was not terribly crowded nor understaffed.

   Everything was pretty bad. Can’t believe the ratings. Grouper was strong and seemed to be anything but fresh. Service was slow and the decor has seen better times. Prices were too high, $23 for a sandwich. Try someplace else!

    We went there for our birthday while we were in town. Great food and drinks! Service and waiter was great! We sat outside so it was a little noise because of that but what can you do about that?

    Wow. Probably the worst seafood I’ve ever had while at the beach. And my wife’s steak was cold. Tripadviser gave it good reviews, so that’s why we gave it a try. I wish I had read their google review too. It’s not as good.

    Our waiter was amazing let me just say that first. But all of our food came out at once instead of apps then entrees.. “medium” cooked steak was pretty much beef jerky… 4 “mini” crab cakes for $18.99 is crazy they are the size of nickels… scallops were way over done and rubbery.. baked potato wasn’t even cooked all the way through and was cold… food was honestly terrible… thankfully our waiter could tell we weren’t pleased and took off the two apps we ordered but our bill was still $85 skip this place if you actually want some good food.

    Best raw oysters I’ve ever enjoyed. Our dinner was spot on! It is the “off” season so the restaurant was not crowded. Craig waited on us and was a wonderful server.

    This place is WAY under staffed. Food was mediocre, service was way too slow for as few people that were actually dining there. Stick with sandwiches and avoid the entrees.

    The staff was wonderful and parts of the food was good. The fettuccine Alfredo I had was delicious. My wife’s black beans and rice and hush puppies were good. However, her blackened mahi was extremely dry and overdone and the vegetable medley was under cooked. Additionally, the male bathroom was trashed with paper towels that were littered all over the floor as well as in and around the sink.

    Have been to Destin location and had good experience. Went to the Panama City location this time and the server was not attentive and several food items were over cooked (shrimp, snow crab). Reggae rolls, hush puppies, burger and blackened grouper were good. Was there for a birthday dinner that was never acknowledged.

    Cold Food! $40 entree and it was cold and flavorless. $6.99 to add a house salad. Way over priced for the quality. Had much better dinner at Saltwater and add in salad was only $4!

    For a beach restaurant they need to lower the AC. At best it was 74-75 in there. That might be fine for your living room but after being out in the hot Fl sun it should be a little cooler. Our server was good but the kitchen staff messed up the order. It was ok but not worth the price.

    We’ve eaten at Pompano Joe’s in Destin and enjoyed it a lot. So, our experience in Panama City Beach was very disappointing. Food was mediocre, service was ok but not many smiling faces there, price was exorbitant for what we got. I was looking forward to great Mahi-mahi and seafood and left truly unsatisfied.     Not a great experience at all. We were immediately asked to order the moment we sat down and the whole time our server rushed us to order, legit came back to ask us our order 3 times in 10 minutes. Our server seemed to just want us finished for our tip, brought the check before the food even came out. The food was definitely overpriced for the quality. It’s definitely a tourist trap.     The pompano joes in Destin has always been one of my absolute favorite places to dine on vacation. Well the one in Panama is not at all up to their standards. The food was very over priced and over cooked . My coconut shrimp was practically burnt and my veggies mushy. We were both VERY Disappointed. We will never be back! Honestly I probably won’t even go to the one in Destin again, it was that bad!!

    We walked right in at our reservation time. Seated right away. Server answered all of our questions. Our server was very attentive throughout our dining experience. The food was very good. I had the jerk chicken sandwich my three family members had seafood and an Oaster appetizer.

    Restaurant was extremely dirty. When we were seated we had to ask server to sweep under table to clean up French fries and other food debris. Two seats had to be wiped because of dried ketchup. Restrooms, both women and mens were beyond disgusting.

    Our experience started out poorly. Reservation @ 4:30. Seated immediately, very good. Only 3 other tables were occupied, multiple servers. Waited 15 minutes with multiple servers walking by, but no service. Went to the hostess and finally someone came over. Mixup in serving areas was the explanation. Many apologies from manager and server and they made it right on our bill. Service was excellent once the issues were resolved Food was good but overpriced as it usually is in these type of chains.
