Food was outstanding, service was amazing highly recommended
Excellent service. Excellent menu items, from start to finish! Highly recommend!
Enjoyed our meal at Polo Grill. Our server, Jacob, was very attentive and personable. Ordered from the twilight menu. Good value for the money. My husband was a bit disappointed with the linguine with red clam sauce. He thought it a bit watery, but tasty.
The veal piccata was very good.
Italian Early bird special was excellent from start to finish. Wait staff friendly and attentive. A very pleasant evening.
Overall good food and ambiance! Wish the menu had more options. Not a fan of the crackers instead of a bread!
Service was ok
Ambiance was old school steak house
Meal was not worth the price and wine was overpriced
Lovely evening with a nice sea breeze. Even though it was 88° we felt very comfortable outside. They also have plenty of fans to move the air.
Our server was wonderfully attentive and didn’t interrupt too much, which is a real art.
Food was nicely presented and almost prepared to perfection…. Almost.
For that price point , it was not quite up to the level of expectancy.
It was a good time, with good friends so we were happy. We will go back.
The food was great but a bit pricey.
As it is summer, we chose outdoor dining. We did have a booking and were seated promptly and greeted by server, Erin. Most guests were dining indoors and we feared we might be overlooked but not the case. Erin was attentive, pleasant and efficient. Instead of typical bread, a serving of pimento cheese and crackers was really good. Our appetizers were well finished before our mains arrived. We like a bit of a pause between starters and mains and the timing was spot on. Prices are a bit high but quality equals. I think it helps restaurants here in Vero for diners to make a booking since it is the slower season and the restaurant can staff accordingly. Our chocolate balloon dessert didn’t disappoint.
Server was a little snarky pointing out that we were ordering off the early bird menu and thus could not ask for any changes. She was also slow on showing up to take our drink order, and we were only the third table of diners.
The food was excellent as was the ambience.
My fish was burned, the fries were cold, a knife was visibly dirty, the table was very dirty, and the service was so-so. The other three diners with me had excellent dinners and enjoyed the food.
Went for earlybird Italian experience and thoroughly enjoyed. Food and wine were excellent. Our server Debbie did a great job. We will certainly be back.
Everything was delicious! I had fish and chips (yummy) and my husband had a mixed grill. He loved every bite! We shared the calamari fries for appetizer. So good! Our waitress was was very sweet and available. We choose to eat outside. A little warm, but the area was big, and it wasn't too noisy.
I have been coming to Vero Beach for about 7 years now, for a few weeks each year. For some unknown reason, I hadn't tried the Polo Grille until this year. I won't make that mistake anymore. This was my third time here this year and it will be a restaurant I now go to every time I'm in town. The food is excellent, my wife and I shared an Ahi Tuna appetizer, and both had the filet mignon. Both were delicious. The service was fantastic, the waiter extremely personable and very knowledgeable about the menu.
Erin, our server was on top of all the questions we had, being our first time there. She had great recommendations on the food and a very personable way about herself. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was inviting. We will being going back and asking for Erin again.
This is our favorite Indian River County restaurant. The menu is eclectic without being bizarre. The early bird selections are excellent but take a hard look at the Osso Buco on the regular menu. That is exceptional! I'd never seen Calamari Fries before and based on Jacob's recommendation I tried them....outstanding! We try to get here once a month and are never disappointed, except for the fact that the new owners don't offer the French pressed coffee they used to have. That was the best coffee I'd ever had and was the exclamation point to an exceptional meal. C'mon guys, put that coffee back on the menu. Leave everything else alone, though.
Our go to place for fine dining this was a special evening for us and the staff came thru once again
The menu and the ambience are a bit old-school and so are most of the patrons, but we've never had bad meal at Polo Grill. Service is very professional.
The ambiance, food, and service were all superb. Three of us chose the veal piccata entree and the fourth in our party ordered a medium rare filet. Our friend held his breath as he cut into it.
Perfect! The tiramisu was excellent and a fitting end to a delightful experience. BTW: the house pinot grigio was more than just acceptable.
The food and service is always amazing except for the salmon that I ordered once before. It was dry for my taste. A friend ordered it the next time we went and it was still dry. Maybe people like it that way. Ambience is nice. Staff are friendly and professional and easy to call when you need something. The salmon ceviche was tender and flavorful and the sea bass fish was melt in your mouth. My husband loved the filet mignon and the shrimp. Food comes out in a timely manner and has just the right amount in portions. It is always a pleasure to dine here and so worth the money.
Table full of kids at first so was loud until they left. Very nice setting. Awesome staff.
requested salmon medium but was cooked totally through and was dry. Needed more seasoning on the fish, black bean purée and/or rice. Even when mixed together they were a bit bland.
Black bean soup was great but lots of almost purely fatty ham hock that I couldn’t eat after the third or fourth piece. Chop chop salad also very good but could be bit bigger.
Nice place though and loved the staff.
Great food…excellent service by the Polish Waitresse
The meal was excellent, the service was outstanding and we thoroughly entire ourselves that evening.
We got there early and the welcoming was great all the way until we left.
Certainly we will visit again
We dined on the porch which was very old Florida style and fun. Staff are terrific. They even gave us a gift card for our Anniversary. Food was good not great. I got scallops which were beautifully presented but were on the bland side. Brussels were more poached than crisp and again bland. My husband had the rib eye which he enjoyed. Truffle potatoes were fabulous.
We are returning customers always have dinner there when in town. Food never disappoints.
Nice neighborhood gem. Great food & service. Staff is wonderful.
A large restaurant with ample indoor and outdoor space. Food and service were just average in quality and presentation
Stale smelling interior, obtrusive waiter, terrible gritty oysters, prices high for decent food. Would not go back.
We ordered a COSMO as a pre dinnerdrink.
The first drink had to be sent back.
The second drink was horrible and left unfinished
THEY NEED A NEW BARTENDER!!!!!!!!!!
The quality and presentation of the food was excellent. Professional service and lovely ambience. Will make it a regular stop.
Had booked a special birthday dinner for my daugher who flew in from Dallas. 6 adults and 2 toddlers. The waiter appeared to be stressed upon our arrival but friendly. We had ordered drinks and starters, 1 guest ordered soup instead of a starter. The guest did not receive his soup and mentioned to the server twice he would like the soup as the starter. When that did not arrive the guest approached the hostess with the thought the soup was forgotten. The server came out like a raging bull to the table and chided the guests "aren't the starters enough" why complain about the soup? He was aggressive and put a real damper on the birthday dinner for the rest of the evening. The guest did receive his soup but was serves with a side of snarky comments. All for the low cost of $600.00+
Beautiful restaurant, wonderful food & excellent service by Jacob.
We’ve been to Polo Grill many times and always had a good meal. It’s under new management as of August 2020, and we think the food is even better than before.
Service was great the food could have been better.
This was my second time at the Polo Grill and both times it was excellent. This time it was 5 of us. All of us were thrilled with our appetizers and entrees. I had the filet served on a himalayan salt block and it was fantastic. Great flavor. My daughter loved her king crab legs. A couple of us had the lobster bisque and were very happy with their choice. I've been coming down to Vero Beach for a few years now and somehow missed this restaurant. That is a mistake that is now rectified. It will be a restaurant that I go to whenever i am in town.
Wonderful professional service with tasty and well presented food. Repeat guest and will return again.
There were six of us and we ordered 5 different entrees. Each dish was outstanding. The service was superb and our waiter, Kennedy, was knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive, but not overly so. We were celebrating my daughter-in-law's 60th BD, and Polo Grill presented her with a $25 gift certificate, a very thoughtful gesture.
This is by far my new favorite restaurant. It's also the best food I've had since moving to Florida from NYC in 2016.
The Scallop and Pork Belly appetizer may stun you at first with how small it looks but it is perfectly cooked, jam-packed with flavor and a sheer delight for your taste buds. You'll find yourself savoring every morsel. Well worth ordering. I then had the best lobster bisque I've ever tasted. I followed that up with a sublime Osso Buco which is accompanied by a petite portion of zucchini strands swaddled in a butter sauce and a very healthy amount of sweet potato mash. I must ask how the mash was made next time I go because there was the addition of one or more ingredients that gave it a superb balanced sweetness.
Does it sound like I enjoyed my meal?
YOU BET!! I can't wait to return.
Delicious Meal and excellent service. My filet was outstanding!
