Exhausted from a day of sight seeing, we wanted something close to the hotel. This was a perfect spot! The food was delicious, especially the guacamole on plantains, and our waitress was lovely. Everyone from my 18-year-old nephew to my 81-year-old father loved the food.

Delicious food, huge portions, and great service. Between my family members we ordered the fried salmon (salmon d'oro), half chicken, vegetarian solterito, chicken and avocado sandwich, maduros, tres leches cake, chocolate mousse, and cocktails. Every single item we ordered was delicious. Most of us had to take home leftovers! For this neighborhood the places are very reasonable. My single only suggestion would be to space the tables out a little more in the interior dining room. It's a little tight in there. But what New York restaurant is in??

We showed up on time for our 9pm reservation after an event in the area but the whole experience was rushed. Down to where they started to shut down the music, lights and cleaning tables around us while we were still eating. Also never even bothered to offer us dessert. We were there less than 1.5 hours so it’s not like we were sitting around taking forever. They shouldn’t take a reservation if they want to close at a certain time and they most definitely shouldn’t rush their patrons.

It was my first time at the restaurant and I loved it. I was on vacation with a friend and we saw it in the internet. The ambiance was nice. The food and beverages were excellent I have nothing to complain about everything was perfect. And I’m definitely coming back on my next vacation

Food has gotten worse after the pandemic. It used to be very good. Steak was tasteless. Chicken which used to be done upon order was clearly precooked as it came in 10 minutes. Empanadas were soaked in oil and soggy. 4% charge for credit cards if you don’t use an app to pay. Too bad. This used to be a place where we took visitors for business lunches and dinners. We won’t be coming back.

Waitstaff was not the most attentive and had to be flagged down despite the restaurant being mostly empty. They also charged an automatic 18% gratuity and didn’t mention to us that it was included in the bill. I could have easily accidentally tipped another 20% on top of that, which seems shady. Also just a weird thing to do for a party of two.

My party booked an escape theme nearby and decided to try this place out for the first time. We love Peruvian cuisine and we we’re celebrating my birthday so I made reservation at this place! The size is cozy by they separated our party of 12 comfortably! We ordered their popular “Pisco Punch” which was so good! Appetizers ordered where empanadas and Papa Huancaina, delicious! Most of entree items tasted delicious however when my friend ordered the Lomo Saltado, they did not add sufficient meat. The staff was very friendly, could have been more friendly and alive - since our party was large and we kept ordering drinks!! We would have stayed longer if maybe the staff added some shots or maybe Birthday song to help with the theme!! Would have received a better review just from that! But would recommend most of the dishes !

Great restaurant with excellent food and drink choices. We have never had a bad meal and service is always spot on. The one negative, cash or Venmo is preferred mechanisms to pay and credit cards have a 4% up charge. Overall, we will come back, but probably not as often as we would like due to the payment options.

We had a lovely dinner. First time in Peruvian restaurant. We had ceviche, beef and Chinese-Peruvian fried rice. Portion sizes are on the larger side. Starter was shareable. We would come back next time in Brooklyn.

I gave a less than 5 star rating b/c it was very cold outside and there was a problem with the front door closing properly so my husband got up frequently to close it as people came and went. Clearly they were aware as there were electric heater placed around the restaurant. Most importantly the food was excellent and consistent as this was our second time there. Service was also excellent.

My friend and I came here last night and it was worth all of the calories we took in. From start to finish, you honestly couldn't go wrong. The Salmon D'Oro was delicious and the 3 chocolate mousse was divineeeeeee!! Will definitely be back...after I lose the weight I gained from eating here haha!

We were lucky to discover Pollo D'Oro because we were staying a few blocks away, and were looking for cuisine we wouldn't find at restaurants back home. My wife grew up in Peru and prepares many Peruvian dishes, and even she was impressed. The Lomo Saltado was excellent, as was the Pollo al Brasa my wife enjoyed. The pappas a la huancaina appetizer was the best we have ever eaten. And obviously the pisco drinks had great variety and were expertly made. We look forward to returning there again and highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking forward to a Peruvian cuisine adventure.
