The service was terrible. I feel like they need more servers, or not to sit people where it is inconvenient for service.
Great balcony dining outside above DOCO with a view
Hostess who seated us was great, Wait Staff was great!
Will write more later, but have to say we were VERY impressed! Nice atmosphere, great service, and amazing food.
Great food and service! We had the place to ourselves at 12:30pm for a retirement/birthday lunch. I highly recommend this place.
Great casual ambiance!! The food was amazing!!!!
Love this place. Service is great, atmosphere is awesome and food is amazing
The food was a disappointment, hopefully after the pandemic ends it will improve or this place will go out of business..
Beautiful place and the service was amazing , will be back again
Nice dinner out near Golden One Arena. Will be great when events are back. Will also be fun to do this with DOCO al Fresco dining
Our service was terrible! The waitress barely checked on our table and was very forgetful.
When I arrived at the front desk, hostess was on the phone made ZERO eye contact and proceeded to be on the telephone for about 10 minutes. At which time, there was a line out the door of people waiting to check in... didn’t phase her a bit. Finally, someone from the bar came up front and seated us.
After being seated, 15 minutes for a waitress to stop by at the table, finally she came and placed drink orders and chips and salsa to start ( they’re NOT complimentary here) you have to buy them. We never got them after asking.... TWICE!
Food came out and it was underwhelming, mole sauce needed salt, bland and flat. In the verde chicken enchiladas, the chicken was shredded too n big chunks, dry and difficult to eat because it just rolled off the fork and the chicken is NOT SEASONED, it’s kind of gross if you open the enchilada to look at the filling...
Although the ambience of the patio is nice overlooking DOCO and the downtown skyline, it’s ridiculously overpriced for the quality and service of the food. This place will not survive if they don’t step up their service and quality of food game! Would come back for drinks at happy hour, but would skip the meal for sure.
Very nice staff, gave recommendations and everything. Food and drinks were both very good, loved the patio heaters. There was an event going on below and the music was kind of, not what I’d personally listen to, but that’s all a part of being downtown.
Food was delicious, staff super friendly
The food was delicious, the service was very polite and fun and quite quick as well.
When we first arrived for our reservation, we weren’t acknowledged for a while. Then when we were finally acknowledged, the phone rang and we had to wait for the guy to take a phone order before seating us. Our reservation was for outdoor seating and we were sat inside. The food wasn’t great at all. The menu they provided to us was not the same as the menu online. The first time my order came out, it was wrong. Although the server was very nice (can’t remember her name), the overall experience wasn’t great. Probably won’t ever be back.
Quick stop in Sac and this was the first thing I saw when opening the app. So glad we went. Food, service and ambiance was amazing. Patio seating ( with heaters) gives a nice view. This will definitely be a spot we come back too. They will validate parking bring your ticket garage is the one after the Macys garage. Best server.. Damian
We were on the patio, last table on the east side. No sun. No heaters. Shady! Very chilly!
Had the Mexican cornbread and steak hash. Both were tasty. A bit pricey.
Amazing food and great ambience! Definitely pricey, but worth it.
They offered outdoor dining for Valentine's Day. We enjoyed it very much. The restaurant is beautiful, culturally decorated with lot's of color, lighting, and art. The food was delicious, the portions generous and the Margaritas were great. The service was on point; professional, efficient and friendly. We look forward to our next visti.
Everything was just
Absolutely loved the experience!!! 🙂🙂
Valentines Day brunch. Food was great. The queso fun dodo was awesome. We had the carnitas plate and it was plentiful and cooked to perfection. Great experience and sitting with a view was awesome. Highly recommend and plan to return.
The service and food was perfect. great open air dining with enough cover and heat supplied that it was as good as being in doors. Great experience every time I go.
Wonderful experience. We came with our kids for an early dinner. The restaurant was lively and fun. The outdoor eating area was kept plenty warm, even in the middle of winter. Couldn't have asked for more.
There was a whole lot of waiting, but the GM/owner recognized it without us saying a word and brought over shots. Food was good, though I have food allergies and my notes were pretty much ignored. I got the sense this was a covid reopening issue and not a typical restaurant issue.
My friend and I had lots to catch up on. We were there for over 3 hours. After the check came, we were ignored for the moat part, BUT no one asked us to leave nor made us feel unwelcome.
My wife and I love this place. The food is always satisfying and the plates are very generous. Our waiter was on top of it and checked on us at least once after something was dropped off at our table. We will always recommend this place.
Great location, but the food quality is not worth the price.
Olivia, our server was amazing! Super sweet and super accommodating. Definitely going to be returning!
Came here right after restrictions were lifted in CA and sat on the patio. Lots of heaters and a fire going so we were cozy even in February. I had a spicy margarita (or two!), ceviche, wings, fish tacos, and the steak dinner. Everything was delicious. The ceviche seems to have had a salsa verde on top so if you’re looking for a more traditional Peruvian style you might receive something you weren’t expecting.
Service was nice and everything was done well. A mariachi band came and people started dancing near their tables. Loads of fun.
it was ok good wasn’t good and drinks were alright definitely not my favorite mexico spot to eat but it’s Hard to find a good mexican restaurant that’s also has good food
Outdoor dining set up was good even on a chilly night. Plenty of spacing and heating elements. We enjoyed avocado tacos and pollo pibil tacos, and LOVED the crispy brussels sprouts appetizer! Minor quibble is charging $3 for chips and salsa at dinner.
We love this place and look for any excuse to make the drive!
There were bugs in my drink, they ran out of ice cream for kids meal. Service took too long. They don’t provide anything for birthdays.. and the got my sons order wrong. Spent $100 for food I could have gotten from a lunch truck
Hi Leticia, I'm sorry to hear that your visit was less than perfect, especially for a birthday celebration. Like many restaurants, we just reopened for dining last week, and it sounds like that was shown in your service. No matter the circumstance, that is not the experience we strive to create. I hope you will give us another chance to prove that. I will message you to get more information about the errors in your order and do my best to correct them.
Polanco never disappoints! Too bad our dumb governor is making it hard for restaurants to stay afloat, but Polanco has an outdoor fireplace and heaters!
Service was incredible
Polanco has done a great job during covid. Their outdoor space is really comfortable with a good amount of heaters. The service was excellent
