As an enthusiastic Southeast Asian traveler (four countries there so far) and home cook who always keeps nam pla on hand, I've studied all of the menu favorites from Thai & Vietnamese restaurants and a bunch of the rare regional ones as well. It's not easy to surprise me... but Pok Pok did so, and that takes skill. Restaurant-quality dining in a campground takes more skill, and doing so with pleasure to both experienced and teenage diners all the more. Pok Pok did all with pleasure for all concerned. An interesting signature cocktail, a starter we all finished in moments, entrees that intrigued and a dessert the teenagers stole from me means a dinner we all enjoyed and remember fondly.
