Poe's Tavern is a gastropub named for Edgar Allen Poe and located in Savannah, Georgia. Offering 24 draft beers and having an emphasis on high quality regional and local selections. It's known for hand cut fries and gourmet burgers that are ground in house and cooked to order. Fans of Poe's literature will be delighted when they read the menu and notice some of their favorite stories featured around the restaurant. Poe's Tavern offers burgers with names like the Raven, the Tell-Tale Heart and the Annabel Lee. Along with burgers, Poe's Tavern has soup, fish tacos and salads to satisfy any taste. While dining, you'll be surrounded by reminders of Poe through pictures on the wall. It's a restaurant every fan will want to visit at least once in their lifetime.

                                                                        Just a gnat problem. Our server was so nice and moved us inside from the patio but unfortunately the gnats were also inside the restaurant. We got ate up. :(

                                                                        Poe’s has a good deal of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has great appetizers, burgers/sandwiches, and salads. I had a salmon salad that was tasty. There are tvs at the bar for those that want to watch sports. It’s a great spot to grab a drink and some food.

                                                                        This is one of our favorite places to eat in downtown Savannah. The food is always good and the service as well. I can say if you need a good burger or chicken sandwich you want to give them a try.
