PM Fish & Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Food was ok, however could have been better. I had the 14oz Filet mignon wanted medium well it came out medium rare the 1st time. 2nd time I sent it back it was medium I was hungry so I ate as much as I could sent it back again. 3rd a charm it came back medium well. Overall setting was nice great atmosphere.
My parents came for Thanksgiving last year and we had a great dinner here. This year however was another story. We ordered 4 main courses of fish and 3 came out in a timely manner. The fourth dish took another 10 minutes to arrive and when I asked the waitress if there was a problem she said no problem. Really???? 3 of us ate thanksgiving dinner together while one of us just sat there. No apologies or explanations were given. This was unacceptable. We were so annoyed that we paid the $300 bill and left. For an upscale place this should never happen. I am very disappointed with PM.
The worst dining experience of my life. Hands down. Reservation 8:15, seated immediately-good. Seated for 10-15 min with no menus/drink menu/wine list- bad. Waiter arrives and brings menus- eh. Brings back waters and delivers 1st bottle of wine. Takes salad order. Hour 1 passes. No salads but we finished our wine so we ordered another bottle. 1.5-1.75hrs in we received our salads and placed our dinner orders. Now on to wine bottle 3. Still no word from the waiter or managers but we've been there for nearly 2.5hrs. We start to ask questions. We are told 15min max. Then a manager finally comes and says they had a fire on the grill and our dinner would be delayed. He was to bring empanadas to hold us over. There were 5 in our party and 1 empanada came initially. Really? More empanadas did arrive. Another 45 min passes. Dinner finally starts to arrive over 3hrs past our seating time. Friends $80 ribeye for 2- overcooked and flavorless. Other friends single ribeye almost cooked right- acceptable. I cut into my mid-rare ribeye and it is raw. Purple in the center. Barely a grill mark on it. To top it off the baked potatoes were also raw. Hard as a rock. Enough is enough. Almost 4hrs in a fine dining steakhouse and I ate half a salad and an empanada.
Learn some customer service and do the right thing. If you had come to us 1.5-2hrs in and told us he truth we could have made a decision to dine elsewhere and salvage our night. This dinner was the grand fin ally of a friends visit from Boston. Never have I been more embarrassed for what is supposed to be a fine dining establishment. I've been in the restaurant business for over 25yrs, I've never seen a worse example of customer service/lack of leadership in my life. I coach my teams to own problems and solve them. Turn a negative to a positive. Your management hid from us and ruined our evening. I hope this review is a wake up and saves would be customers from making the same mistake we did.
Beautiful architecture and decor. For this particular Friday night there weren't a lot of people but we enjoyed not having a crowd there. Dinner was delicious and the service was good. The happy hour menu was good and reasonable. The happy hour dishes were large and we ended up sharing dinner. Would recommend to anyone that want a nice place with good food, ambiance.
I was a bit disappointed this time with PM. PM is one of my favorite restaurants as it is close to home, spacious, and has great service and food. Unfortunately the meat was not medium well but medium to the point that it just smelled raw. And the branzino in wine reduction ended up being grilled and burnt. Will give it another try.
This is one of the best restaurants in Miami. The food is exceptional and large portions. Service is very professional , what you would expect from a restaurant of this quality and the manager is on top of everything, making sure everyone is satisfied. In one word, EXCELLENT !!!
This is a truly beautiful restaurant. The service is impeccable. We never once had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. Our server (Diego) was on top of things. His recommendations for food and desserts were all perfect.
We eat out 3 to 5 nights a week, and this was one of our best experiences.
My meal-filet, asparagus, and mashed potatoes was delicious. Filet was perfectly cooked. My friend ordered a burger and fries but the fries were disappointing-no crunch or salt. She preferred my mashed and the salad. Salads are good! The wait staff were efficient. The only thing that bothered me was the ambient temp in the dining room- it was hot. I may try PM again but if I find the same problem I would leave.
PM Fish and Steakhouse has a great ambiance that reverberates in the relaxed atmosphere throughout the place. The cuisine is superb and the customer service is outstanding. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking to delight him or herself in amazing cuisine, while being surrounded by a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Thank you for making a birthday celebration a night to remember.
We wanted to try a new steakhouse instead of going again to a traditional steakhouse in Miami for my birthday. This place didnt disappoint!
The restaurant was much bigger than expected and the design was very traditional (red and dark wood) with a modern twist.
We were seated very quickly but, although our reservation was done with a note that we were celebrating my birthday, this information wasnt given to our waitress and she asked if we were celebrating anything special.
Elizabeth was very friendly and had the perfect recommendations on dining. We had the tuna tartare, Puerto Madero steak for 2 and the grilled octopus. It was a lot of food but the flavor was amazing and loved having the mini parrilla presented to the table with our entrees.
Just before we ordered dessert, they brought me a flan saying it was with their compliments and sang happy birthday. However, they charged me for the flan. I didnt mention anything but I'm sure it was an oversight.
We will definitely be back!
food was cold and not up to their usual standards. Air conditioning not working properly and when we asked to have the air conditioning turned colder they argued that this is the way it is all the time. We have been there many times and it is always cold. They could have just told us there was a problem with the system instead of arguing.
Really bad experience. We were ordering rib eye steak and our server oferred rib eye steak for two and we accepted. The single rib eye was $34 each. The rib eye for two was $120! Which our lady server did not inform us at all!! Absurd price. Total lunch expense of $111.50 each just because we each had a glass of wine and espresso.. not going back on this place..
