Excellent and friendly service. Food is good and drinks were excellent
We had a nice evening, but we should’ve mentioned a few things while dining about two dishes, but over all the experience was nice.
Great food and impeccable service. Highly recommend for brunch.
Convenient, next to Marriott. Easy to make reservations on line and change if needed. Great food and service.
Food was excellent! Great ambiance and decent prices for farm to table food. One noisy table next to us, but not too much of a bother. Highly recommend Plough for a nice dinner.
The duck confit is amazing. Wonderful atmosphere and service.
The food and drink were pretty good but a bit pricey for what they were. Service was a bit slow, we had a different server start to step in and assist by the end of our meal.
Made the reservation for my wife and I to have a date night, wasn't disappointed. The server, Nick, was very personable and attentive. The food came out quickly and was cooked as well as tasted perfectly. The price was comparable to other nice dining restaurants.
The restaurant is accessible from the Marriott where we were staying. We had a fantastic meal here! Jake our server was very friendly and attentive. I recommend the crispy shrimp and the pork pappardelle.
Food was very fresh and creative. I ordered a cocktail that was expertly prepared. We were still talking about the food the next day. Really nice atmosphere with a diverse crowd. Families, couples and groups of friends. My teenage son absolutely loved the ribs and fries.
Had a forgettable brunch with a very limited menu. I had a small, dried out frittata (although the potatoes were good). Service was terrible having to ask and wait for every little thing including salt & pepper (pepper mill was empty), catsup, lemon & sweetener for tea as well as the check. Won't be back soon.
The previous time I had the same exact dish and the entire dinner was 10/10. Last night the food just seemed to be made so rushed and there wasn't attention to detail. The rice was cold and the veggies were very hot but a tad crunchy so it seemed the veggies were rushed as the rest of the dish was ready. The food was still okay, just from the previous experience I've had there this was just completely the opposite. Another customer by us had to send his food back since his chicken was raw!
Plough is in the heart of downtown Lancaster. It has a hip vibe, quiet yet good energy. The food was amazingly delicious, excellent quality and reasonably priced. The Fisherman’s Stew was the perfect balance of savory and spicy and I also enjoyed the broccolini with spicy red chili sauce! My husband said his Plough burger was excellent. Mackenzie provided superb service. She was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and very accommodating. All the staff were helpful, friendly and professional. We’re from California and visiting family in Lancaster so we’re always looking for fun places to dine during our stay. We will definitely be back!
All 4 meals were excellent as well as desserts.and drinks. Fresh ingredients. Great flavors.
Ok for a hotel restaurant went for brunch but not really a place I’d return to, nothing special, priced too high for the quality of the food.
Delicious food, good service, felt intimate while still being busy.
Food was amazing! Drinks delicious! Service, Kyle 10/10!
Can't wait to return!
Service was great and food was fantastic. The chicken and waffles were delicious but my son and husband didn’t care for the scallions in the waffle mix. I think that should be optional. I had the Wagyu burger which was super tasty and came with a fried egg and delicious deep fried potatoes. I also tried the margarita which was made with grapefruit juice instead of the traditional sour mix and lime juice and that was unbelievable! Can’t wait to get back to Plough the next time we’re in town.
Plough is great and our server made the experience extra lovely. Really appreciate the quality of food and the use of abundant local ingredients. We are between lunch and dinner so the menu was limited but still pretty yummy with fewer choices than I’d like.
Not sure who worked the door on Saturday evening and the host for our table, they were FANTASTIC! Made a difference after a long weekend event we had at Saint James Church and wanted to bring the artists for a post-performance refreshment. Plough made all the difference. Thank you!
My husband and I had a Nice early quiet dinner at Plough On a Thursday evening recently. The service was very good and the server was attentive and we loved everything in our meal. We started with that fresh baked focaccia with lavender honey butter and the crispy rock shrimp. The focaccia was absolutely delicious and the butter just melted over the warm bread. The shrimp was a very large portion for an appetizer and the sauce was delicious. I had a glass of very nice Pinot Grigio and for our entrées he had the ribs and I had that scallops in a pea risotto. Scallops were cooked perfectly and the pea risotto was smooth and delicious. He was equally happy with his ribs and french fries. The only disappointment to the dinner was we wanted to order the campfire cake for dessert and they were out of it. I look forward to coming back and trying some new things on the menu.
The food was delicious and good size portions. The rock shrimp small plate was AMAZING. We also got the pork chop and the duck which we loved. The kitchen got backed up but our server kept checking on us and our order to make sure we didn't have to wait too long. The wine and white sangria was good as well. If we weren't here on vacation we would be returning soon!
Plough Restaurant was very nice. It was quiet, the service was excellent, and the food was great.
ok, maybe the menu will get better. Service was very good
Enjoyed our meal and evening in Downtown Lancaster, PA!
Food was excellent. Server was friendly and prompt.
Nice place to catch a good meal in downtown Lancaster.
I love love love! This restaurant the energy vibes and food was fantastic me and my fiancé will definitely be coming back .The best eggs and French toast I ever tasted thank you
Marcelo was wonderful. But, his support staff was not trained in what they were serving, how to serve food and drinks, etc. and, the food was tasteless. Literally, no seasoning. We spent the dinner salting our food. I never salt my food at a restaurant.
They did comp us some meals, and gave us dessert. Clearly, a different chef than before the pandemic. Not up to Marriott standards. Again, Marvell, was, as usual, wonderful.
It was our first time dining at Plough and thought it was a nice, upscale experience. The server we had, Kyle, was absolutely amazing and really made the evening. If it were just based on the food, it would have been only an ‘eh’ experience, but Kyle was energetic, inviting, and fun to interact with. The food…my strawberry and asparagus salad from the Little Fares menu section was delicious! but huge! I was grateful that the mushroom spatzle I had was small. It was however also just a very basic and bland mushroom mac n cheese. My meal was salvaged by the lavender crem brûlée! It was out of this world delicious!!! My husband had the onion and potato soup and he said it was alright. His main course was the market steak which was a New York strip. It came with chopped up broccolini and fried mini yellow potatoes. My husband was not impressed. He said the steak was tender, but he could tell that things must be precooked here because his medium-well steak that was sliced into sections was nearly cold. I tasted the steak and in my opinion, it was tough, completely flavorless, and dry, but I’m a ribeye gal. Oh, I did order one of the bar specials too, the dragonfruit mojito, that was super delicious and refreshing! So, the location was perfect because we were attending a Prima event in the Convention Center, but I don’t think I would go there for the food. With tip, we spend ~$135 and I thought it was way overpriced for the experience. Oh and to top things off, they don’t validate if you park in the Penn Parking garage attached to the convention center (which Plough is attached to as well).
Great food and service!
A great place for brunch! Yes
Our waiter gave great recommendations and their specials were amazing. The duck confit and mushroom spaetzle were absolutely delicious. We were surprised that the rock shrimp were saucy. The mayo listed is a sauce they're tossed in, not to dip in. It was a pleasant surprise though. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it.
Great service, excellent food and drink! Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The food was absolutely top notch. We came for brunch and we highly recommend the chicken and waffles.
Everything was fantastic! Nick is the best server! Kind, attentive, professional and courteous. Our Dragonfruit cocktails were delicious and the lavender Creme brûlée was the perfect dessert. Always a top notch experience here!
The service was horrible. We waited 30 min to have a waiter come to our table, another 20 min for drinks and silverware. It was truly horrible. The food was good but cold!!!
Service was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious.
Food was outstanding. The service was non-existent.
Yes, especially with the waiter “Maurice” as he was professional in every way. This would include the food, drink list, managing multiple tables and being all around effective/ efficient with our experience.
