    The waitress who served us made the experience exceptional. I used to dine here on special occasions all the time and always impressed my guests I was taking out. The food was always outstanding. I give service a 10 out of 10. But let down with the food. For the price, the food didn’t live up to what a fine dining restaurant should be. Sad to say I won’t spend my hard earned $ here again. La piazza will be my stop next time or will try Peking Sq. You guys have a unique product with the carriages and decor. Just go back to providing better quality and quantity of food.

    I have been to Platform One several times, usually to celebrate a birthday, something that needs a bit more. It's easy to book, park and the restaurant experience is very good.

    My family & I enjoyed the food that was served to us, ambience was good too. One comment would be the plates that the food was served on, it's beautiful but probably due to the texture of the plate, whenever we cut into it, it causes an unpleasant sound. We noticed other diners have the same problem. We have to cut our meat very carefully so as not to annoy other diners.

    This restaurant has been going for in excess of 20 years and needs a major refurb. Food quality is that of a club standard only and is not classed as Fine Dining which it is advertised as.

    The service was excellent. The staff knew their stuff and aimed to please. The rail carriage was quiet and we could converse without shouting. However, the evening was let down by the food, both the limited menu and the servings were a disappointment. Three out of the five of us went for the 'Two Course Special' not because of the cost but because there wasn't a great deal on the main menu that appealed. We three had the salmon and were disappointed by the accompaniments. We would recommend ordering a side dish as well. Another in our group had two entrees, again because she couldn't find anything on the main menu that appealed. We could not recommend this restaurant.

    A great time - one of the entrees, Caesar salad, was a little disappointing; however the rest of the meal was wonderful.
