Only complaint was the abundance of flies! I've been there many times and this was never a problem. Mentioned it to the manager who said they are limited in what they can do about it. A lot of environmental limitations as far as sprays, strips etc.

We were outside and there was a large party also outside with us, but that was fine. It was a lovely evening outdoors with wonderful food and great conversation. We were there about 3 hours and didn't even realize it! But that's what's so great about Plateia, it creates an atmosphere where you can engage in conversation and forget about the time! How many places do THAT for you?!! :)

Please, PLEASE return the honey crisp edge double cut porkchop. Why have you not brought it back when it has been a favorite? The pasta paparadellia w mushrooms was very disappointing. Maybe there were 4 or 5 mushrooms but the flavor lacked. Excellent service.

We’ve eaten here before but first time with our dog. Loved eating here with my pup. She was treated like a queen. She had a bowl of food that looked yummy enough for her humans. She trotted around campus so happily afterward. We’ll definitely be bringing her back. Thanks Plateia for the warm Bruin welcome!

Three out of four of us ordered the lamb pita. Everyone thought the lamb was over spiced and a little stringy. The french fries came luke warm but the waiter cheerfully made a new batch which were hot and crispy. The fourth member ordered the hamburger which she loved.

We enjoyed our dinner very much but the service was very disappointing. The server did not write down any part of our order. He came back to confirm it and it was still wrong. He still did not write down the order. We were served soda water instead of Scotch and soda that we ordered. The wrong salad was served. The dishes weren't cleared between courses. We were charged for the soda waters. The manager came over after we complained to a bus person. He only offered an excuse that the server was new. It's unfortunate that there is a lack of training with the new servers. The reviews are the same on Yelp with poor service.

I have been to Plateia 4 times. I LOVE IT. Beautiful patio and very good food. Excellent service. I could return weekly. I have been there for lunch, breakfast and brunch. It's my "go to". I want to try dinner and happy hour. The service is wonderful . I've told many friends and relatives. Keep up the good work

Everything was great except the hostess (youngblack lady). She was on the phone, she didn't acknowledge us, didn't say "I'll be with you soon" nothing. She ignored us until a gentleman came and seated us. And it's not the first time she did it. Horrible hostess. Food and service was great.

I'm a Plateia regular and love the restaurant. I've always raved. But yesterday was a disappointment. The noise level was atrocious. I am very short and always need a cushion, which is always brought to me quickly. This time none ever came and when I asked I was told that they were "out of them." I ended up eating with the table at chin level. I'm sure this day was an exception and i'll continue to be a loyal Plateia diner, but at least PLEASE have enough cushions.
