Went here a few weeks ago and loved the chicken so decided to come for my birthday. Mistake. First they knew it was my birthday and put us at a table with no outside view Our waitress was the bartender. I ordered a drink (blueberry mojito, which I had last time) and I thought to myself “this is so bland it tastes like water” but not trying to cause a scene. Then the waitress comes and tells me (after drinking 1/2 of it) she mixed up some drinks and forgot to put the alcohol in it and brought me a small cup to pour in (what was left of) my drink. Ok nbd things happen, although she should have replaced the entire drink. Then I order the pear/feta appetizer with no nuts bc I’m allergic. She said no problem. Comes out 45 mins later (this place should have bread at this price point imo) with tons of nuts right on top. At this point my 4 year old is losing it we’ve been waiting so long I said just forget about replacing it and bring the rest of the food out as it comes. At this point another waitress is helping and a few mins later sees my son struggling as his food has been sitting on the counter in front of us and she brings it over. Then my quinoa bowl was cold (it’sa hot dish) and very bland. I don’t necessarily blame this waitress, she’s the bartender and shouldn’t have tables (especially a party of 5). The owners was there and offered us something complementary but we didn’t order anything else so they took off the quinoa bowl (one of the cheapest thing we ordered). The owner also walked by our table with empty drinks multiple times. Poor service. The food was generally good for everyone else besides me. My husband had the seafood platter and said it was meh. Salmon was great though. Overall I think def depends on who you waitress is and where you’re seated. Won’t be counting on them for another special occasion though

I wanted to share some honest feedback about our recent visit for Mother’s Day brunch. When I made the reservation through OpenTable, I was presented with two options: “Standard Brunch” and “Mother’s Day Brunch.” I deliberately chose the Standard option because the regular menu is what I was excited about—especially items like the crab cake benedict and the deviled egg flight. I even raved about it to my mom and made a special trip, driving over an hour to get there. I also specifically avoided the buffet option because I had bariatric surgery in 2018 and physically cannot eat $53 worth of food. That price point felt excessive for a buffet that, frankly, didn’t appeal to me or fit my dietary needs. But when we arrived, I was told the buffet was the only option. I expressed that I had selected the Standard Brunch, and was told there was no such option being served that day. At that point, we were already there and had no real choice but to stay, which was disappointing and honestly felt misleading. To make matters worse, the service was slow despite the restaurant not being very busy. It took quite a while just to get our drink orders in, and the overall experience didn’t live up to the hype or the cost. I wouldn’t have made the reservation had I known the buffet was the only option. I feel really let down—not just because of the cost, but because I went out of my way to bring my mom somewhere I thought would be special, and it just fell flat.

We enjoyed an excellent meal at Plated. The service was outstanding. Favorite dishes included fried calamari, Brussels sprouts, steamed mussels, pasta with shellfish. Cocktails and dessert were great too. Look forward to going back!

Really lovely family dinner. Finding something a little more upscale (i.e. not a tavern) in Vermont can be tricky, but Plated has just the right vibe. The food was exquisitely prepared and very attentive staff. The food was a little slow, but I think we caught a couple other large groups at the same time. Would definitely recommend coming her when you need a nice-but-not-formal dinner spot.

We booked the first time slot for Easter brunch. We had a lovely table right next to the window in the back room. Food was out and ready to be served when we arrived. The buffet had so many delicious offerings. The lunch items were fantastic—Cajun chicken, lemon dill salmon, roasted veggies, carved roast beef and ham. The breakfast items were also really good—made to order omelets, home fries, bacon, sausage, waffles. We really enjoyed our experience here. We aren’t from the area, but we would be back if we are ever driving through again.

Upbeat atmosphere and very nice food prep. Was a little taken back at the scalllop dinner price. 6 scallops, $60.

It took over an hour from the time we sat down to get our food. We did not order appetizers but tables near us who were seated at about the same time did and they got their apps and then their entrees before us. Very frustrating. We didn’t order appetizers so we could get in and out relatively quickly as we won our way to a show. The server was nice, but didn’t check in to give us a status update or apologize for the long delay. Prices were quite high for what we got.
