Great time at Plate! The food was mostly standard American, nothing out of the ordinary but the quality of the food was great. Our waitress was kind and attentive as well as the host who seated us. It is a smaller space so be prepared to hear others speaking and dining. Banana pudding is a must! We would come again, but for more casual dining in Vermont.

Our visit to Plate was prompted by excellent online reviews, and the food and cocktails lived up to them. The mussels were tender and tasty. I was curious about the addition of almond milk in the broth, but it created a delicate silkiness. The buttermilk dressing on the salad was delicious and abundant. My daughter and I both had the burgers which were cooked perfectly to our different tastes. Our only complaint was that they didn't have gluten-free buns and served her burger on flat white bread. We loved the creative presentation of the cocktails and the pretty assortment of plates. We would have rated our experience at top star, but the service was a bit erratic that night. We were there at 5:30 when they were just opening, and there were some issues with the AC blowing directly on our table. While that dampened our overall experience, it did not take away from the fact that the food at Plate is high quality and creative.

Very impressed with everything! Server was very attentive without being intrusive. I had a NY Strip that was as good as any steak in any of the great steakhouses I’ve eaten in! My date had the pork tenderloin. That was flavorful and unique! Highly recommend The Plate!

Excellent food, nice cocktails, great wine list, and friendly, attentive service. I did find the chair less than comfortable.

One of the best places to eat in Stowe! It's small, friendly and the food and service are thoughtful. Elevated but not pretentious. We always eat at Plate when we're there.

Plate is exceptional… The food is fresh delicious and innovative… the ambience has a wonderful vibe which honors Vermont culture in his energetic at the same time… Fantastic experience

This was our first time eating a Plate. We loved it. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food and special cocktails/mocktails were excellent. We will be back!

Our dining at Plate was fantastic. The hearts of palm crab cake was delicious and tasted just like real crabmeat. Both our salmon and pork chop dinners were outstanding and our server, Jamie, was just one of a kind. Her interactive personality, great sense of humor, and knowledge of the menu were terrific. She really made our evening special. Kudos and thanks so much Jamie!!
