You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.

The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. Our famous Mediterranean warmth and relaxed ambience welcomes work mates and first dates, quiet drinks, and family celebrations.

A selection of wines have been selected by Sicilian sommelier and Italian wine expert Virgilio Gennaro and cocktails are designed by Regan Fernandes to compliment the fresh, coastal flavours that will revolve around seasonal and local availability. The only thing you’ll find in our freezer will be ice cream.

Booked a table for 6 people, coming from all over the country - Warwick, Harwich, Gillingham, North London. Got to the restaurant and there was a piece of paper on the door saying they were closed. No communication to let me know, no subsequent apology. Shocking.

I only gave one star as it wouldn’t let me give zero stars!! We showed up for our reservation only to find the restaurant closed. There was a very simple handwritten note saying that they were closed. Why didn’t Open Table inform us so we could have made alternative plans earlier?

Nothing to tell. We booked a table for this Saturday gone and when arriving saw that it was closed - indefinitely by the look of it. Surprised we were not informed that the restaurant was shut so a wasted trip into Windsor. Pretty crap showing tbh. IT IS SHUT!

The waiter informd us several items on the menu were missing. When we tried to order wine we were told most wine was missing We left as clearly they should not have opened

Absolutely loved this place! The tapas were delicious—fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. What really made the experience stand out was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They made us feel right at home and gave great recommendations. A real gem in Windsor—can’t wait to come back!

Great little spot in Windsor - fresh and really well prepared food. Good portion sizes for tapas plates.

Food was lovely, but portions have definitely got smaller . Then they ran out of beer and it was only 8 pm .

Despite pre- booking our table when we chose the food for our meal many items in the menu were not available. I wanted a salad to be told you were not able to do a salad of any sort. We decided to leave when we were told the cured meat platter wasn’t available. 3 of our party of 5 wanted that; so given no salad and no cured meat - we were sadly better going elsewhere. Your waitress was very polite and courteous though - we ran about 10 mins late so rang ahead.

Bad bad food. Sorry They were fair to take the undercooked dishes off the bill. The waitress was not interested in any feedback.
