Beautiful location. Friendly and responsive staff. Wine and food pairings offered and were bang-on. Restaurant was busy yet we were not rushed out at all. Food prices were slightly higher than anticipated though it was high quality food, generously portioned. All in all a lovely meal.

I’ve been before and like restaurant. This time tried their famous burger and fries. Did not disappoint. Portions are good but small compared to many places but this is not a bad thing. Too often there is an obscene amount of food which people eat just to finish. This was a nice size with lots of fries. Really enjoyed.

Disappointed with flavours at Planta. Maybe we didn’t get the best dishes but the food felt rushed and very oily, salad was soaked in dressing. Cocktails mega sweet. Waitress forgot one of the dishes. Planta is riding the wave but hopefully better options will come to the city.

Everything was wonderful, totally worth the price! Don’t bother with the giant chocolate chip cookie though, it’s forgettable

The hostesses could be more welcoming at the door as I asked them how they were doing and they were kind of off-putted by me asking how they were. Overall the servers that helped my table were super welcoming and were patient also help suggest menu items.

The food was terrific, and despite the price I think it was worth the quantity and quality of the food!

Made reservations and still waited half hour to be seated at a small high top table as a party of four. The party of three right after us were seated at a empty larger table for five. Did not like the disorganization. Food presentation and taste were good but not amazing. Some dishes were very bland. Expected more.

Everything was wonderful except the portions were very small. We had to eat again when we got home. 2 hours later. That’s with appetizers, and dessert.

Fresh, good quality, well presented food. Beautiful decorated restaurant. Nice staff. Waiting time to drinks and starters too lo g (>20 min).

The food here was some of the best vegan food in Toronto, and a must try even if you’re not vegan and are just looking for a fresh take on veg. Restaurant is bright, decor is trendy and casual, and the waiter we had was wonderful—very attentive and conversational yet professional.

Terrible service. 3x I have dined here, and consistently poor service. Multiple people swarming around, posing and none of whom pay attention to diners.
Waiters dictate to the diners what they should order rather than listening. Awful.

I would not. I found the food very disappointing, one dish was inedible. We actually sent it back. The other dish was just not very tasty.

We eat a plant based diet so coming here was a must. Everything we had was great. We ordered a salad that contained cilantro and didn’t enjoy it. Our waiter Michal replaced it for us with one he enjoys and it was perfect. He also spent time with us to point out everything that was or could be made gluten free.

Our servers were excellent as was the food and ambience.

While we had to wait for our reserved seat in a drafty entranceway the food and service once seated made up for this situation. No explanation was given.

The valentines menu was a little limited, service was great!

The food was delicious! The planta burger lives up to the hype and was well worth the enthusiasm. Servers were incredibly attentive and kind, even though it was incredibly busy, our food and drinks arrived in a very timely manner.

The Friday evening we went to Planta for a Winterlicious meal the restaurant was humming. It was nice to see that it is so popular but it was a bit noisy for a senior citizen like myself. The three of us did, however, thoroughly enjoy our dinner. Our server, a lovely young woman, was solicitous and efficient, and the food was tasty. Only the veggie burger did not live up to expectations. I much prefer a Beyond Meat burger.

Overall, our evening was a success and we look forward to our next visit.

Consider carpets to control the noise? Apart from that, very happy.

Really tasty vegan options. However, I would not recommended the homemade iced tea - it is literally a black tea bag in cold water, and the “sweetener” given on the side is sugar which does not melt in cold water.

This was my first time at Planta in Yorkville. We decided to give it a try for Winterlicious - everything was absolutely delicious so we will be back!

Food and service were amazing. Value was somewhat ok since we went during Winterlicious but the noise level was way too high. Thankfully we had a quieter table towards the back. The main area was as noisy as a school cafeteria.

We made a reservation for Winterlicious and had to wait 45 minutes for our table. After we were seated, we were rushed out of the restaurant within an hour. All that aside, the food was fantastic!

Despite having reservations, we were seated close to the door. It was freezing. The server brought out a heater and plugged it in between us and another party. They complained that they were cold, so the server placed the heater closer to them. We had to wear our coats throughout dinner. It took a really long time to get out order taken and we didn’t see a server often. We felt ignored. I still tipped 20% because it would have to be brutal for me to tip less, but I was disappointed. My daughter is a vegetarian and it was my first time taking her to a vegan restaurant. I really wanted it to be special.

The "Chicken" burger and Drop Me a Line non-alcoholic drink were fabulous. Ambience was hip on a Saturday afternoon during Winterlicious. Make reservations and show up on time. They are popular and get very busy.
