   From the rudeness to the hostess to more than half the menu being unavailable, this is a definite “don’t go.” It looks like they are planning to shut down and close soon. I even forfeited my complimentary birthday dessert given the poor overall experience.

   I’m pescatarian, but my friend is vegan. Sometimes dining at restaurants that exclusively meet her diet, I’m ill-impressed at the taste/texture of the food. PLANTA is a clear exception as their food is incredibly tasty, and I would think would please most anyone (who isn’t determined to bite into a juicy piece of beef😉).

   The South Beach location was the best Planta location in North America we have visited. The service was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, free to point us in the right directions. Food was extremely tasty, well prepared and seasoned perfectly. The drinks, while interesting inspirations, were a tad light on alcohol, prompted us to order a few more than probably usual or necessary.

    Always a great experience here. Bang bang broccoli and any sushi dishes are a standout. We pay homage to this restaurant every time we visit Miami Beach.
