    I had $220 dinner at Planta queen last night and I think that is my last visit. I have been a huge fan!! I take clients, friends, family and my boss there often! There is no food consistency! Last night we had 2/3 cup of red onion hunks in our pad Thai slaw. It was over dressed and I picked out the over powering onion. Called manager over who took the plate of onion to the chef before I could grab a pic and never came back. We ate it so I paid for it. Then the kale salad came with missing Yuba crisps barely any mushroom bacon and Parmesan also soagy with dressing. Had to ask for that to be removed off my bill because we couldn’t eat it. Not sure what’s happening but I am disappointed in the food quality. $220 I don’t mind spending but the food and the service need to be worth it. Our server gave us the bill and stood next to me waiting for me to tip her. No!! Walk away please and give me privacy. I was a waiter for 7 yrs I never did that ever without being asked to stay.

    Came here with my friend. She wanted to treat me to dinner for my birthday. She’s been here before but it was my first time. I love the theme. The decor is creative. Very eye pleasing. The waiter was very nice and I got a free cheesecake for my birthday! The wonton soup with Spinach dumplings was so tasty. Cant wait to try other dishes.

    Good food, nice atmosphere. Service was lacking. They were not busy at all and it took a very long time to get our server when we needed drink refills and our check. The food is very pricey for what you get. Been several time & will probably go back. A good place for a drink & a snack but not for a meal ( in my opinion )

    The items that we ordered that we liked were AMAZING. The eggplant sushi and the avocado with glazed truffle sauce was ridiculously good. All other items were nicely prepared and presented but not show stoppers. Our waiter was not attentive and would disappear frequently. He never actually stopped long enough to give our full order. He would spend one second and dart off before we could ask for anything else. My friend never got to order a drink. He was not knowledgeable about wine list and made the dining experience less than we had expected.

    Amazing food! Was visiting a friend and we found this Experience (Disco and Dumplings) dumplings were so flavorful and filling. But the drinks!!! Herb Your Enthusiasm was a beautiful tequila cocktail...I had to have two!!! Our poor server was triple sat, so we were forgotten about in the madness, though she immediately comped our late plate. Very friendly and it was really a great spot.

    What’s up with the service here? It was really off. Hostess was extremely slow. Didn’t have utensils, soy sauce, waiter seemed very off and out of it. Claimed not to have pineapple despite it being in multiple cocktails. Waited 15 min for rice to come out for the mapo tofu which got cold (and was lacking flavor), and the rice was dry and undercooked. Not sure how a restaurant that has rice in half the dishes can’t make rice well or have it come out on time. Everyone was nice but feel like the entire staff needs a few shots of espresso and some more basic service training.

    Valentines day no decorations, Special drinks some margaretha was too sweet and horrible taste. Had a set menu , was too much food and was lack of taste. Super overpriced what was it. Sad to say but wasn’t good experience. Have to step up in their game

    Came here while on vacation and stumbled upon it after a day spent on Las Olas. Best find!!! I’ve been a vegetarian for 8 years now and this is by far in my top 3 favorite plant based restaurants. The food was absolutely delicious and our server, Alex, provided grade A service. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for those who live a plant based life but also anyone just looking for a great dining experience.

    We ate at Planta after seeing a performance at Broward Center. Our timing was unfortunate, because we arrived during an apparent shift change. The service for our table was impacted. Once they sorted out who would be our waitstaff we received appropriate service. The food is always good, and the presentation is stellar!

    First timers: Everything was great (exceptional even) EXCEPT for the hostess. This poor interaction definitely affected our experience. The host is the first impression of an establishment; they should be welcoming, kind and helpful. We weren’t greeted by the hunched over hostess at the desk, who was clearly in a frowning/bad attitude/rude mood. Instead, we had to say hello to her first. She started blankly. We made reservations on open table and were explicit in the notes with the number of guests and their ages in our party (and included a request for a high chair for the toddler) but for whatever reason, host couldn’t find the reservation. Which made me feel crazy, so then I had to look it up to confirm that it was in fact there. There was no apology for this misstep or even an acknowledgment that it was in fact, a misstep. Instead of being proactive and moving our party to an available table out of the entrance threshold, she kept us (with toddler) standing in the doorway while she input new information into her system. This took at least 3 minutes, which might not seem like a lot for you, but with a hungry toddler, felt like ages. The line that started to build up behind us didn’t seem to like it either. Once we were seated, our server provided excellent service. She was kind, accommodating, friendly and timely. Thankful that she could it make up from the hostess’ pitfalls. The food was delicious, ambience and music were on point and my mezcal cocktail was phenomenal.
