Unfortunately the food and service were below average. The ambience and wine were good. We felt that the price tag did not meet the quality of the experience.
The food was great and the server’s knowledge and understanding were awesome. We went for DineLA and we had a great night. ❤️❤️❤️
Too many occasions to list
The food was incredible. Everything about our dining experience was top-notch.
Excellent food and service. I love that the food is not imitation meat.
Great food, great ambiance and great service. Outdoor patio was the perfect setting for me and my date. Definitely coming back!
The food was tasteless, tiny portions, and incredibly over priced. Our server was rude and judgements when we mentioned our bread was stale.
Ultimately we left before finishing our meal.
The food and server were great but then the power went out and the flood lights came on which really spoiled the atmosphere. At no point did the manger come out and touch the tables during this but rather had the wait staff drop his card off at each table.
Overall food and service staff were great but could of had more professional service from the manager.
Another delightful dinner at Plant Food and Wine. This time enjoyed a meal for four indoors because it was chilly, but typically recommend you steal a spot on their gorgeous patio. Had excellent service throughout. For apps, loved the artichoke dip with crackers and the Brussels sprouts. For mains, we had the kelp noodles, the squash and the gnochetti. The gnochetti is the most filling. All were tasty. If you're a breadlover, as for a side of their insanely delicious loaf bread and butter. It's honestly all I really want to eat all day.
Superb quality vegan cuisine. Will certainly return and seek out MKC sister restaurants outside California.
Amazing place with delightful, unique food that blew us away! The truffle cheese, avocado tikka and butter mochi were my top three ❤️! The atmosphere and ambience here is incredible, especially the garden is pure magic! Amazing service, such nice people and wonderful interactions.
Perfect food nice ambience
New Year’s Eve fixes menu with wine pairing. Fantastic.
Our first experience at this restaurant was for New Years Eve. The service was less than stellar. We were rushed through our first 3 courses, our plates being picked up the second the last bite was eaten. The second course which was supposed to be soup, was just raw vegetables that were barely cooked, with a tiny bit of broth that was impossible to get onto the spoon. Our wine pairings were all messed up, being told different things by different people. None of the food was described to us as it was placed in front of us. When we had to ask what x was on tha plate, the servers didn't know and had to ask. It almost seemed like none of the servers had worked there before? We tried to pay with a gift card at the end of the meal, which was somehow confusing to everyone. Overall, we wish this wasn't our first experience at this restaurant. We had JUST come from Matthew Kenny's food at Lauderee which was absolutely fantastic, so perhaps we had higher expectations than we should have. Some of the food was great, some of it was a big miss. Pretty unfortunate experience overall :(
Need more restaurants like this! Fresh, organic, plant based meals!
Delicious food and I am not a vegan or even a vegetarian. We had the mushroom burger, jackfruit melt, arsenal cheeses, Venice salad. All perfectly prepared. We sat in the back garden for two hours and they didn't hurry us. An oasis in Venice Beach.
We didn’t have a good experience with the food. The taste, portion and cooking wasn’t good. Nothing like the everyday Menu. The soup was almost cold, the salad very heavy and the main dish very very salty and Huge a portion. The ice cream was good but the dessert didn’ t taste like much
I don’t recommend it for thanksgiving
Great experience beautiful venue and friendly/great staff. Will definitely come back 😃
This is the Best Vegan Restaurant. Wish there was one in San Diego or near by!
Food was amazing! Server Alex was on point and informative. Ambiance was romantic and charming. highly recommend and will definitely come back
Fantastic food. . . truly, delicious. Friendly, attentive staff, super knowledgeable server. Outdoor patio was lovely. I only wished I had asked to be moved to a different table. I sat next to someone who didn't order anything to eat/drink. Not sure why, but it really bothered me. I don't normally get self-conscious about this kind of stuff. My time is so limited. Anyhow, that obviously isn't the restaurant's deal. Will be back!
Been a big fan of this place since it opened, but a little bummed about the recent menu changes. The cashew raclette was much better in the skillet drizzled with paprika oil (vs. the cornichon relish) and really missing the mushroom sandwich. ALSO, the Caesar salad is no more :(
Enjoyed the new scramble for brunch and the house-made cheeses are excellent. The jackfruit toast was totally Insta-worthy, but I must admit I'm not as in love with the food as I once was. Still, I would recommend this place for healthy vegan food.
The food, service and ambience were all wonderful. We sat on the patio which is lovely. Every dish we tried had amazing flavors. Nothing we didn’t like. And the coconut creme pie ended it perfectly.
The service and ambiance were truly wonderful, but the food was absolutely terrible. We tried 7 dishes and only liked one of them. We didn’t even eat the remaining dishes other than taking one bite to try them.
Plant Food + Wine is a very nice restaurant with great service. I loved the ambiance and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately I was not a big fan of the food. I thought that the food could have been more flavorful with a better combination of spices.
This was our second time dining at this great restaurant, the first time was amazing but not everyone wanted to do the course menu so this time me and my husband drove about three hours and made a day out of our food plans. The online menu still said the course menu was available to our surprise it was not. We were bummed at first but the food is amazing! I wasn’t crazy about the tempeh but I’m picky when it comes to tempeh. I wish they had a restaurant close to us in Palm Springs.
My new favorite restaurant of all time! Thank you for the incredible meal and warm and inviting experience.
We’ve been many times over the last 3 years, always impressed by every dish. We really miss whoever the old chef was, as last night was so bad we won’t be back. Even the salad was a shocking disappointment.
Overall the outdoor ambiance is great. I think this place is overpriced for what you get. I got the breakfast sandwich, in which is was highly recommended, it was small, and it didn’t tasty very good. I’ve had better at a fast food chain :(
Beautiful outdoor area
Best bread and crackers in LA
The cheese plate is even better than I remember it. That paprika affair with the quince. Jesus. The whatever it was with the fig preserves. That sauerkraut-like mustard seed stuff served with the other sort.
I lost track of the names, and I would love help with making them more memorable (maybe little labels next to the cheeses/preserves?). I love evangelizing the cheese plate, and it makes converts of anyone who tries it.
To be honest, I think I prefer Double Zero for dinner, though. Just more affordable, and I adore their pizza. But I've often wondered whether you've considered incorporating your cheeses in their pizzas?
Superb! Best food I have had in ages. And a very patient and tolerant waitress guiding the vegan heathens through the menu
great food as always. bummed that reservations don’t include patio:((. and within minutes walk ins got to go in back but we didn’t with reservations.
Amazing fare in a relaxed but gorgeous atmosphere.
We love Paris and the amazing food and service
Really amazing food and service! Cute ambiance and aesthetic for ig pics. Lowkey and quiet.
The restaurant has a really good vibe, lots of positive energy. The waiters were very friendly and accommodating. The food was high class vegan. Lots of raw items. Very little options for people who are looking for diversity in food (ie i like healthy and vegetarian but need my cheese to actually be CHEESE and not some nut paste version). Overall, very good for hard core vegans)
Amazing food and gorgeous patio
The food is incredible and the setting is charming (outdoors especially). The menu is unique and really requires some discussion for those unfamiliar with some of the exotic ingredients and preparation, which can be very important to make sure people are expecting the right thing with their orders. Unfortunately, our waiter did nothing to help us navigate the menu and seemed edgy and defensive as I tried to probe the subject for the education of my group. He knew his stuff, ultimately, but for some reason either felt like we should know it already or just didn’t show up ready to do the job that day. Unfortunately he was the only person we interacted with and missed an opportunity to engage us in the experience of this unique cuisine. Not being welcoming or helpful at all led to an overall disappointing experience. The entire experience would have been cold and mechanical, save for the wine, ambience, and food.
