Plant City - Double Zero
You'd never know this was a Vegan place. Phenomenal food.
Brenna, our server, was outstanding...friendly, attentive but not intrusive. We ordered almost everything... spinach dip (awesome), carbonara (out of this world), calzone (amazing), margaritas pizza (perfect), Bolognese, panettone French Toast ( a bit undercooked but I have had it b4 and it was great). The drinks were amazing, thank you Jamie!!
The food is excellent but a bit pricey. The service is great and the ambience is lovely. This review is for Double Zero.
Pizzas were great and very flavorful! The artichoke appetizer need more flavor.
Food was delicious, service on point, and a relaxed environment amid a jammed restaurant. Everyone is genuinely happy at plant city, staff and guests alike!! Will be back!!
Nice atmosphere. Food is vegan but not super exciting. I ordered margarita pizza: great crust, bland sauce, vegan cheese was OK. Pasta bolognese: pasta cooked well, sauce was good. "ground meat" was ground walnuts and mushrooms; taste was good but texture a bit gritty. Beer selection is excellent. I am not vegan but I choose to eat mostly vegetarian. I enjoy finding meatless meals that are delicious and this night fell short, I think, because they tried to use fake meat and cheese to recreate a familiar dish rather than just focus on taste and texture and make something unique.
Margarita pizza and eggplant dish very bland. The meatball was tasty and the Truffle pizza was very good. The Gigante Bean pizza was good, a bit on the spicy hot side. Their pizza dough and crust is excellent, nice and thin! Cooked perfectly. We had the Tiramisu for dessert, not a good choice, didn't even come close to the real thing, it was thick and heavy with little taste. This was my second time to this restaurant, the first time was much better.
I had high expectations having eaten Plant Based foods since September 2019. This restaurant far exceeded my high expectations with a great variety of tasty food, nice atmosphere and helpful waitstaff. Highly recommended!
Each piece of the meal was unimaginably satisfying, and presented beautifully. There was a very small window of time between each order placed and the arrival of the order, which was a pleasant surprise given the meticulous nature of gourmet plant-based cooking. The dining experience was calm and quiet, and outlined by the genuinely kind and attentive wait staff. The space Plant City has crafted is beautiful, organized, and seemingly well-managed. Cocktails through dessert, everything was exceptional.
Second visit and the food is exceptional. I am not a vegetarian but have really enjoyed the food here. It is amazing. We had a "pepperoni" pizza and a spaghetti "bolognese" and they were excellent. I enjoyed it so much last time that this was my choice of restaurant to celebrate my birthday!
We truly enjoyed our experience at Double Zero. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. The music was a tad loud but not prohibitive. We would definitely come back and look forward to our next visit.
Have been here about 12-13 times. This was the first time we went for brunch. As usual we were promptly seated, the service was excellent and the food outstanding. Their Bloody Mary is one of the best. Their specials menu was amazing. Overall, this is an amazing place that brings plant based eating to a new and delicious level! Can’t wait to go back.
Great food outstanding service. Drinks are a little pricey but the Cosmo was delicious.
Absolutely loved it. Survive was great and I was very picky so I appreciated the politeness!
It is always wonderful.
Great food a waitress . Tables to close was bumped into 5 times at least
The chairs are very uncomfortable but overall wonderful experience
Food is very good- pizza excellent. Service dismal with attitude. Waiter disappeared and second half of lunch arrived extremely late and lukewarm. The waiter was uninterested in serving his guests. Not an inexpensive lunch and expected more.
Awesome place. Very accommodating and the food was fabulous. We had such a great celebration
Vegan paradise. I loved it. My friends and I ate lunch at New Burger and dinner at Double Zero. Both were excellent.
So delicious. The raw lasagna was even more incredible than I imagined. Our server was excellent. I can’t wait to go back and try more menu items.
Honestly, I have absolutely loved new burger, bar verde and the cafe but we were disappointed by the lack of menu options at double zero. It is mostly pizza and out of the 3 we ordered we only liked 1(pesto arugula). The cauliflower was good but nothing to go back for. The bolognese pasta dish was lacking in flavor and the pasta was overcooked. The lasagna was just okay.. To end on a positive note the service and the margaritas were first rate!! We will be back to the other restaurants at Plant City soon!
Wonderful first experience at Plant City—the food and service was excellent! Will be back 😊
Cool 🤙 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
The food was very good, but we had a large party and three of the people didn't receive their dinners until 30 minutes after the rest of the group, and we were not comped any of the meals.
Great location! Everyone was really helpful in explaining Plant City’s ideals and culture. Our server Max was exceptional. Very well spoken, knowledgeable, attentive, and paid attention to the little details that separate a good waiter from an excellent one.
The food was so delicious! I can’t wait to go back!
Waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. The service bar was rather slow seeing that we only ordered beer..but lasagna, truffle pizza and Bolognese was great.
Our service has seriously surpassed our expectations ! Christopher was delightful, he even told us about Plant City’s latest and greatest app. I would HIGHLY recommend Plant City, to my Vegan and especially to my non plant based friends who are hesitate to try. 7 stars from my husband and I.
Double Zero was shockingly disappointing. Up there with the worst vegan pizza I’ve ever had. Frozen Daiya and frozen Amy’s vegan pizza taste better. Seventeen dollar Margherita pizza tasted like bread with ketchup. Lemonade and limeade were 2 of the worst tasting drinks I’ve ever had in any restaurant. They tasted like someone mixed white vinegar with ice. Fifteen dollar baked meatballs with barely any substance drowning in sauce. Ridiculously overpriced and lousy tasting food to the point where I lost interest in ordering dessert due to cost and fear that it would be terrible. One of the few times in my life I walked out of a restaurant feeling completely ripped off. And by the way, management might want to tell their hostesses to not lick their fingers before grabbing food menus. I felt obligated to tell a friend to cancel reservations with Bar Verde the following week because the food was so awful at Double Zero and the two restaurants seem related. Too bad because there is a dearth of vegan options in Providence, but I can’t justify this place to anyone, vegan or non-vegan. The only plus was our waitress was very nice, but good service won’t bring me back to an overpriced restaurant with bad food.
Great food! Incredible service!!
Great food, great service, very loud (not in a good way)
This was our second try for Plant City. We thought we would try Italian / pizza this time. Foods that we thought would be hot (lasagne) was nothing more than a cold salad. The “baked meatballs”... weren’t baked... and very spicy but not advertised as such. Left hungry... pizzas (margarita) were dry and flavorless. Food items came out, not together, but in dribs and drabs. Too bad this can’t be a vegan place we can all afford with foods that we all enjoy. We left hungry
Wonderful multi option all plant based restaurant. Absolutely terrific!
Wish it were quieter. If you ask for a table by the window or by the long planter dividing double zero from the Mexican restaurant, it muffles some of the cacophony.
The food is very good, however the menu is extremely limited. As a 27 year vegetarian and 10 year vegan, I was rather dismayed by the fact that our waiter was neither and told us that he “ needs” to eat chickens.
Oh, well, maybe someday.
I do recommend this restaurant for the delicious food.
We ate at double zero for brunch! The Bianca pizza was cheezy and spicy. The carbonara was rich and delicious. We will be back again!
I am not vegan but my daughter is. I highly recommend this restaurant. I love all they have to offer! From the chocolate croissant to the pizza and their store. I’ve been telling everyone about it as it one of my favorites in Providence.
Absolutely fabulous! Very different experience.
Our waitress was top notch. Food was delicious and we tried A LOT of different things. Best margarita ever! We will be regulars for sure. Manager was so nice too. Met him as we were leaving.
Gets better every time, if that’s even possible.
The food was incredible!!! Looked and tasted amazing. We talked for hours afterwards and kept saying how awesome it was!!
