Highly recommend! The food was delicious! (Best brussels sprouts I've ever had) The wine was great. Our server's suggestions were lovely. And the price was not bad at all. I've already recommend it to two people and I will definitely be going back my self!
This place is amazing and the food coming out of that little kitchen is incredible.
Very Good Tapa’s spot.,
Owner/Manager was extremely hospitable.
Owned and operated by a husband who’s the chef and managed by his wife. The ambience is beautiful with oak wood and candles everywhere. However the service is extremely poor. Interacted with two servers who didn’t know basic etiquette. They literally brought wine for tasting and when I said it tastes good she just left and brought back the bottle without asking if I even wanted it. They got our order entirely wrong. I have celiac disease and the server brought gluten and then took it back without apologizing. We never got the correct dish after a 30 min wait. We ended up just canceling one entree and they never compensated for it or even gave a free dessert. The female owner is very snappy and rude. We changed tables and she started to say things like we are busy and we need time and we ruined her seating arrangement.
If you want to have a terrible date night and feel unwelcome, plus have servers not care about giving you a great dining experience, then this is your place! They literally ruined Valentine’s Day dinner for my boyfriend and I. We couldn’t wait to get out.
Everything was delicious! Friendly, knowledgeable service with charming, intimate ambience. The gnocchi and the short rib are MUST tries!
Great ambiance and light dishes
Love Plado tasting bar - such a great experience! Can't wait to come back soon!
Cozy, delicious restaurant that would be a great choice for a date or dinner.
Food was perfect as always. Waitress accidentally thought we ordered 2 of the same dish but comped us one of them so it was fine.
What a charming restaurant. Ambiance was perfect, warm and inviting. The menu options are fantastic. Between the regular menu and the specials it was difficult to limit our choices. The food and the presentation was wonderful. Small plates provided plenty to share per dish for four hungry people and I liked the idea of getting to taste multiple dishes. Makes it a family style dinner, perfect for friends. The server was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and offered suggestions when we asked for recommendations. She was very attentive without being disruptive to our conversation. It’s definitely going to be one of my go to spots.
All I can say is "wow." It's a tiny restaurant tucked away in the East Village, but has some of the best food in NYC. The menu is quite large and there are so many excellent choices. I settled on the roasted pear and endive dish, the butternut squash ravioli and the scallops with roasted eggplant. Everything blew me away. The portions were quite generous for tapas dishes, and the prices most reasonable. I had the deconstructed doughnut dish with pistachio gelato for dessert, and it was divine. My server Nicholas was awesome and the room is so warm and cozy. A must-try for any NYC foodie.
Great food, lovely service. Will definitely come back and recommend to others.
