   Incredible dinner with a beautiful atmosphere and wonderful individuals. It's hard to find a place with such great quality food and a unique menu. If you are a foodie, Plado is it! Thank you to the owners for all their care and hard work that went into this restaurant. Will be back - highly recommend!

   This is the second time I have been to Plado. On both occasions, although I found the restaurant pricey, the service was fine and the food tasty. However, tonight I was greatly disappointed in the portion size of my entree! The menu states that the plates a patron orders can be shared , yet my scallop risotto came with just one scallop sitting on a bed of flavored risotto. That is unacceptable! Even if I wanted to share with my husband, we’d each be splitting 1 small scallop! As popular as this restaurant has become in under 2 months, I think it’s seen the last of me. Too bad, because it definitely has great servers and delicious food … just not enough of it for the money!

   Hi Jane, I'm sorry you were disappointed about your dining experience with us. We are a shared small plate restaurant instead. This style of dining allows guests to try a variety of different dishes. For the special Scallop Risotto, the one scallop that you are talking about was garnish. The dish contains 4-5 scallops that are cut up and mixed into the risotto. There is no way that we would serve one scallop in a risotto, im sorry. Did you over see that the dish was full of scallops? We have served this dish to many customers and this is the first im hearing anyone say anything. I think if it was one scallop the dish would have been sent back many times. Hopefully this one time doesn't deter you from coming back again. Next time we will make you a fresh Scallop Risotto on us!

   Excellent food - surprised it was super busy on a Sunday for brunch. I think they need better advertising! Loved the ambiance and food. A gem in glen cove. I wish you the best of luck

   Atmosphere very nice. Food eclectic. We ordered tapas..not all were good. Would have given Plado another chance until I got bill and saw I was up charged for Tito’s ( they don’t stock grey goose) vodka gimlet $25. Not worth it. Sad, I was hoping for a better food experience

   Hi John, We stock grey goose. Maybe just happened to be out that evening. Our prices are comparable to all restaurants on the north shore of long island. A martini is 4oz of liquor vs. a standard cocktail that is 2oz. We carefully measure all our cocktails the proper way they should be served. This is why you were charged this price.

    The first time I went to Plado it was fantastic. The second time, not so much. I went early, when only a few other tables were there and our first several dishes came out promptly. Unfortunately the prosciutto was inedible because it was sliced too thick. Thankfully the service made it right and brought out a replacement. The fried artichokes were oily and needed acidity. The squash blossom special was also heavy and flavorless. It took over thirty minutes for the pasta mains to come to the table. We ordered a special tortellini and unfortunately we were served a tortellini from the standard menu. We immediately notified our server who would not admit to the mistake and told us if we wanted what we originally asked for, it would take a very long time. We didn’t eat what was brought yet we were charged for it. When I asked them to remove it from the bill, I got more push back…eventually they removed the charge, but I left feeling frustrated and a little hungry.
